Howdy everyone. I know we have a diverse memeber population and im wondering if yall have any tips on traveling to Europe.

Im goin to spain. Ill be stayin in Barsalona for 8 days.( Its my first time in Europe and even out of the "west")

What do i need to take for the plane ride?
What do i need over there?
Any things i need to see?
What should i eat or not eat?
Anything i shouldnt do (ie break any customs)
And any other travel tips are appreciated.

cool dude...barcellona rocks.....check out the new camp stadium...and get drunk on fine spanish wine....i live next door in portugal.......try and get down to the costa blanca or the costa del sol...its good fun.

checklist.

1.alka seltzer
2.spanish phrase book
3.more alka seltzer
4.alka seltzer.

Barcelona's a great city, I recommend the Picasso museum, and a walk from the top of la Ramblas (the main shopping street) to the seafront at the bottom. Also the Dali museum if Figueras about 100km north would be a good daytrip.

All the food is relatively safe but only drink bottled water.

As for customs, just mind your manners as usual. Nothing outstanding I can think of that might offend the Spanish. Remember, however, that Barcelona is part of Catalunya, and some Catalonians are fiercely independent and resent being ruled by Spain...

And if anyone asks you hate Real Madrid.
