The Philippines may be in finanacial danger but it doesent mean to say that the Philippines has no plan for it's air force. Duirng the Estrada
regime, the air force tried to buy the embargoed F-16s form Pakistan but economic problems which shook the country during the Asian Crisis, has
delayed the sale.But the PAF have plans for it's future. It plans to have Lockheed Martin to exclusively build F-16s for the Philippine Air Force
and Philippine Navy. Ityy plans to have Lockheed build an exclusive F-16 with antiship capabilities. It wants them to build the F-16PH, an antiship
version for the F-16 to combat enemy ships and aircraft. It needs it desperately to patrol the archipelago, particularly to claim the Spratlys
Islands, which literally belongs to the Philippines. In the Arroyo administration, the air force forgot it's priorities to the F-16s increasing ties
with China and ommiting the claim of the islands. So plans have never been heard agin

the Spratlys does belong to the Philippines!!!!!!!. It was Tomas Cloma, a Philippine Navy official who found the islands 17 kms. off the island of
Palawan in 1957. And the constitution says that the Philppine waters extend to 200km off coast. So if it wasnt for us, the Chinese, Taiwanese,
Malaysians wont find it even with radar or GPS !!!!!!!!!!! If Estrada did arm then naval commander Tomas Cloma, THE PHILIPPINES COULD HAVE HAD
IT!!!!!!!!

No, the Spratlys and its oil resources belong to Malaysia 
Its just that we're bowing to China since they have the bigger airforce/navy.
