AceOfBase,

Thanks for pointing that out.

So it raises the possibility of some bribery prior to the incident.

So they wanted to fight against the Iraqis not against tithe U.S. soldiers. Well looks like the Iraqis did a hell of a job since no prisoners escaped.

The sad part is that everyone will blame the Americans if any prisoners died during this raid. If an insurgent killed a prisoner, it is "Evil Arrogant America" that caused it. "Look what the Americans made us do!"

I am confident that any hostiles that we encountered during that raid are no longer among the living.

Yet another reason why we should let our armed forces do what needs to be done instead of second guessing whether or not they should be shooting at people who are shooting at them.

Political correctness kills on the battlefield.

Roger that, xman_in_blackx, let the small(er) known fact of the battle of Midway (the Japs' enormous lapse in a particular - guess which - principle of war) be known... If you know an an area is off limits to you, you must contact for security... Otherwise, if you get within so many miles/yards of my group/installation know that you WILL be neutralized. Everything is so doggone soft these days.

Unfortunately we've been too soft for too long

What a suicide tractor? Was that attack successful? That thing has got to go like 2 mph a good anti vehicle missile will take care of that thing.

It has been not a single word(?) of these news in Denmark in TV-media. -I haven't noticed anything...
Have they (journalists) fallen to the ignorance of time?
Does the Iraqi war not sell anymore?

Does this mean it is open war-time for Dubyah?
