can someone help me locate an old thread?

there was a thread about 1 - 2 years ago that was a tongue in cheek alternative to the bible.
it was quite long and told the story of a town where "dave" i think would pay you money if you believed he was boss , but you never recieved the money until you left the town and never come back.
