Sorry everyone, that I was a day off with the start of this thread...stating a day early that he was dead. He was too pooped to Pope and it was only a matter of time. I read a report a day early on Yahoo that confrimed his death and then they rescinded it shortly after....

But, now that he has passed....let's take a moment of silence.......

And...let's hope the new Pope allows priests to marry....

the last pope being named Peter would be way too obvious. I wonder what else "peter the roman" could mean?
