This maybe a weird situation that is being played off on a very fortuitous day for such things to be written off as a gag.

I'm not sure about ATS's schedule, but over at the EAC we use a month delay schedule because of the lunar revulsion cycle, so april 1st is actually may day. May day, emegency, 911, etc etc.

Good job guys, I applaude the effort gone into this one.

My personal suggestion for future jokes..you need to split everyone up from everybody else, so your left figuring it out on your own. Ie every link you click on ATS links you to the joke, or you attempt to make a post and you get message saying 'post logged: IPlocked' and again linked to joke. I dunno, but something like that so you cant talk about it with anyone. Of course, this would effectively close ATS forums for a day, but it would fool alot more people.

I doubt it was meant to be a really serious prank...
