Australia, NATO boost links

AUSTRALIA will boost ties with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), posting a defence attache to its headquarters in Brussels and enhancing counter-terrorism intelligence co-operation.

Foreign Minister Alexander Downer said Australia would have much more to do with NATO in dealing with security on a global scale rather than just a local or regional scale

Not Sure how many troops we have in Australia but by this report we need to start to train alot more
