It is 9pm EST and on PBS 13 is a program about Krakatoa which began it's explosive actitivity May 20, 1883 with it's grand finale in August 1883. It is comparing some of the Dec. 2004 devastation to what Krakatoa did. It looks like it will be a good program. I'm not sure what else will be on it -- if there will be a comparison of what would happen if Yellowstone Caldera went or not.

For example of these real eruptions check some data about Long Valley, Taupo, Toba or Yellowstone.

thanks for the links and I will also check out the others -- I had heard about Toba before but not Long Valley or Taupo. So I have some more reading to do.
