In California, at the local indian reservation, any money won at the casino over 1200.00 dollars gets taxed by the federal government. But yet when you take your money to the casino it has already been taxed once. Why is there a double tax? Does anyone think its crazy?

usually, money doesn't leave a casino.
But with the double tax, i beleive that our government is constantly thinking of ways to steal our money. This is the answer.

No doubt! There's usually an inflow of money into the casios, and if you are walking away with anything just be grateful that you are winning. I think the gov. will tax anthing they can as many times as they can. I never understood why you have to pay tax on cars every time it is sold or resold.
