Leader pledges corruption fight

KYRGYZSTAN's interim president Kurmanbek Bakiyev has pledged to fight corruption and help victims of looting.

"The battle against corruption is my main goal," Mr Bakiyev said at a meeting with staff from the cabinet of ministers and the presidential administration.

Askar Akayev is reported to be in Russia ..i wonder if this was planned with Russia against Chechnya??
