U.S. justice system gone insane

Here is a perfect example of what I said in the subject. One court condones the killing of Schiavo, who has a loving family that wants to take care of her, while another court spares the life of a convicted rapist and murderer because the jury looked at the Bible????

Far from the hurly-burly in Florida, where the Bush brothers and their shameless minions have sought to milk maximum "political capital" from the ravaged body of a brain-dead woman, the true moral values of these gilded hypocrites were on stark display last week in a quiet corner of the Bushes' adopted homeland: Texas.

This week, U.S. President George W. Bush melodramatically cut short one of his innumerable vacations and flew back to Washington to intervene in the case of Terri Schiavo when a Florida court granted her husband's request to cut off her life support after she had spent 15 years in a vegetative state. But days before, even as the president was supporting his brother, Florida governor Jeb Bush, and congressional Republicans in "defending the culture of life" in the Schiavo case, doctors in Houston were pulling the breathing tube from the throat of an ailing infant. The boy suffocated within seconds, legally killed -- against the wishes of his anguished mother -- in accordance with a draconian law signed as a "cost-saving" measure by the state's former governor: George W. Bush.

Not every subject in the universe is about Bush. There are a few, but not every one.

Interesting post....I wonder why the jurors needed to consult the bible for anything at all.....if the guy was guilty of murder and rape, then he should have been fried... irrespective of what the bible said. Personally I think if these jurors did'nt know the difference between right vs wrong...then they should not have been selected from the jury pool.

It is also a tragic statement that a disabled person can't have her family take care of her and will die...while the criminal listed in your post will live to get 3 square meals a day....at the State's expense. JUSTICE?

Uh.. let's see.. it was GEORGE W. BUSH who flew back to D.C. EARLY to stick his nose in FLORIDA's business. Are you one of those pseudo Republicans who don't even know what the G.O.P. is supposed to stand for?

Come on, centurion1211, you know better. Everything that is wrong with the world is George Bush's fault. If it's good, either Bush had nothing to do with it, or if he did, it actually has a truely diabolical purpose we can't yet fathom. The man is the most evil creature to walk the planet, and is so influencial that he's the reason my sister cut herself the other day! EVIL, EVIL MAN!!!

However, we did find out in this thread that those dirty, filthy, lousey Jooooooos also play a big role, as long as their demonic leader Bush gives them the go-ahead.
