K, just reminding people then it's like 8:30 AM some places. There's 2 mods on last I checked and we're both grunts.

So trying to save anyone from working themselves into a paranoid tizzy, when there's no reason. Just be patient.

I just got up and I haven't been around a whole lot this week...by the time I finish the week out at tomorrow evening, I'll have like 70 hours in this week.....so I missed all the drama, but unless you are really being obnoxious and blatantly ignoring the rules...you get warnings first and of course if your being obnoxious and blatantly ignoring the rules....you can expect to be banned. As for petitioning for someone to be unbanned...how silly and ridiculous if it worked that way....no one would stay "banned" because there's probably somebody that would petition for anyone to be un "banned"....this site isn't a democracy, it has staff to make these decisions......my advice would be to get over it and leave it alone


Note: What's the "proper" spelling for the paste tense of "banned" or for the present tense for that matter!?

oh i'm not a mod because I don't respect the rules? yeh right

I respect the rules but still I like to question actions of the mods and ask for a reason why someone like lizardsamok was banned but all we get is stonewalling that nixon would of loved and secrecy comprimable to a govt agency. One should always question the level of 'necessary' control and enforcement on a site like this, as some policies and actions may be counter to 'community building' at ATS.

I also find it laughable the level of secrecy and untransparency that those in power relish in on ATS when this is a site trying to fight the very same thing in government in regards to a variety of issues.

Moods ban for a reason why they don`t post that reason is to reduce the amount of useless threads that would occur and take away the whole point of this site.This site is not solely for the fight against power hungry govts or individuals.Ask yourself what was the real reason Simon started this site,because of an interest in the unknown,govt conspirices,aliens ,ghosts,nwo etc etc etc.I doubt it ,if you want to build a website and gain success for your own ego or financial gain do you start one that only a few hundred people around the world gonna be interested in or do you copy one of many that is around or do you after you see the popularity of programmes such as the X-files and the net introduce it and add many other phenemenon into one site.Do people here actually thing Simon Grey really cares about the many posters here or the subjects involved.Or maybe he works with the govt to find out about individuals such as Weise who was a member until he killed some people.

Porn is inappropriate in this forum. If that's the reason for his banishment, then hopefully he learned a thing or two about indecency on a public forum. I'm usually all for speaking out against the ban hammer. Down with it. lol

It seems a little out of character judging by his normal posts - he took a lot of ribbing and never seemed to lose his humor. I knew someone who's room mate got on their computer once and trashed all the forums they posted on, just for a joke. Maybe that would explain it.
