Germany and France do not practice 'socialist' economics, their economies aren't state owned and run and they do have 'free' economics, private businesses and corporations that dominate their economies. Before you try and say 'oh but they have unions and protect their businesses etc' every industrialised nation does that. There are a variety of factors that have contributed to France and Germany's problems, both internal and external.

What you have to understand is that while it may be a wrong move(I agree with the EU being able to do whatever they want and not having to bow to America, but I disagree with arms sales that can destabilize the Taiwan issue), don't delude yourself into thinking that America isn't guilty of the same crimes in history.

Why didn't the US just accept Stalin's offer from the March 1952 'Stalin Note' which called for the reunification of Germany?

You wouldn't have had to have been stationed in Germany at all.
The US was one of the parties that divided Germany and prevented it's reunification so the Germans do not owe the US.

China always has and always will be our enemy. America will always have enemies and thats just the way it is. The peace we have with China now is temporary and those little bastards will bid their time until their strong enough to strike....and when they do we're not even gonna see it coming.

The worst part of it, is that the countries that act like non-aggressive nations (France & Germany) will turn around and sell the deadliest weapons to China....knowing those weapons will be used against Americans in the future. Thats retribution..

About Frenchies. After 9/11 the US took upon negative propaganda against France. (bojkot of cheese, wine, french fries(feedom fries). Not very friendly guesture.

When you joined the US military, you did so for either your own or America's interests, or both. You didn't sign up for Germany's interests. I doubt you even get to choose where you get deployed. Why do so many of you think you are owed anything? Here you are on the internet trying to demand respect and payoff for the brave actions of men over half a century ago. I recall listening to a guest on Art Bell saying that such technology was then sold to Iraq and implemented into their SAM sites so they could in return shoot down American planes.

It is much more likely that we here in Australia would face such an attack. And we dont expect much in the way of support from the US since, once again, the profiteering US military/commerce alliance is beggining to spread itself thinly throughout the world.
