You should temporarily sticky this at the top of the NEW posts page for a few days so EVERYONE sees it. As it seems people are intent on ignoring PTS in favor of ATS due to more views/responses.

I have been waiting for this thread for months... I am sick and tired of politics, and I have been posting very little recently because they're getting into every other topic on the site.

This is great news. Please, stick to your guns here; a lot of topics will have to be moved, but in the end, it'll be for the good of ATS.

Let me give yall some guidelines

If your thread starts with Bush, Congress, Government, etc, more than likely it will be moved. I do leave SOME up in Current Events due to various reasons.

The War on Terrorism forum is also choked with Political threads

What about gay, (church and state?)

It's good to see the continuing battle of Liberals Vs Republicans being shipped over to P@ATS.
What will become of the ATS political conspiracy board? It will probably be hard to talk about a political conspiracy with out talking about the government.
I've only made one post on that board and I edited Bush's name out of the quote I was using. As I look back I think if I kept Bush in then I would of gotten more than one reply

Now what about the Conspiracies in religion board? Most of the threads there have no conspiracy element what-so-ever.

there are forums at PATS for social issues and issues of religion in government.

I'm all for it, but it will be difficult. People love to put a conspiracy spin on politics to try to jam their agenda onto ATS.

It's definitely needed, and it will be good to see PTS more active.

Just like to say it would be nice if member contributed in UK Politics, there's plenty of UK based members on ATS and it would be great to hear some new and alternative views

Should be likewise moved to Politics.
Church and state can easily reside in the Religion in Government Issues forum.
Gay issues can easily fit into the Social Issues forum.

We have a forum for Political Conspiracies, but P@ATS works too.

If its about Politics it will be moved more than likely.

OK, so what's the difference between Political Conspiracy and P@ATS?

Watergate, Iran-Contra, government complicity in 9/11, and election rigging are all political conspiracies.

How to fix SS, Bush sucks, liberals suck, Tony Blair sucks, conservatives suck, how do you feel about gun control? - are all PTS.

In my opinion any way.

Thats pretty much it.

It seems like today Conspiracies and plain old politics are hard to separate.
