oh man...too many conversations like this around the internet...aren't you guys tired of all this horse#, again and again?

Nobody gives a # about gays, except gays themselves. We don't care, let them march anywhere they like. Who cares? what's the big deal anyway about a group of men pretending to be women?

Masterp, whether you actually meant this to sound childish or not, your sentiments are actually quite accurate. Why do people care about others that are different from themselves? Fear is a weakness - stop flaunting it and using the bible as your excuse

Sodomy is just plain wrong! Whether it is between a man & a woman, a man & a man, or a man & an animal. WRONG. UN-NATURAL period!
These nutjob liberals are gonna evetually legalize beastiality and then if you disagree with it you'll be a hate mongerer. Time to cull the heard! Take out a liberal before they deystroy humanity.

I thought gaysex and bestiality culls the herd nicely by itselve by not providing offspring ?

Still the sinners pop up in new generations, must be something in the gense, one they could fix that.

You gave me a laugh today, i will grant you that much. What about oral sex then? It's ok for homosexuals to take part in oral sex because you only disagree with the idea of Sodomy? No you will have a problem with that too ("I just don't like gays, damn!"). What's your next solution when you hit a dead end with a previous argument or someone points out scriptures innacuracy or your misuse of quoting them out of context? - just label a group of people (in this case homosexuals) who are different from yourself and thus inspire fear in you, to be of the same callibre as a paedophile; or someone who commits beastiality; or someone who commits murder... (carry on with list of examples that conjour up images of criminality and disgust) Those kind of immature comparisons stand out to most people who have a medium sized quota of intelligence as meaningless and tarnished with the brush of ignorance (or stupidity), so it doesn't quite work in your favour. Still, it was a funny post nonetheless.

I'm gay, and in a monogamous relationship w/ a guy. Neither of us desire 'instant gratification' As far as sex goes, we are waiting till marriage. (Legal in Ontario, Canada) We are both avid church going christians, and try to keep the sins to a minimum. As far as what the bible says about gays... There are so many revisions and additions/subtractions to the scripture, who's to say. I guess unless you can read hebrew or roman, and glace at the origional texts, we'll never know.

I will say this tho: I am strongly against 'gay pride' parades. I think that event gives gay's in general a bad image (beit they do it to themselves). Pride Events further steriotype homosexuals as disgusting and dirty.

I for one, am not the steriotypical gay... I don't lisp, I dont think Im a girl, I dont wear dresses, and I dont talk w/ a high pitched voice. (frankly, I can't stand those things...) I don't like shopping, baking, or whatever else the steriotypical gay is supposed to do. I'm a hard core gamer, 3d gfx modeler, and website designer.

I can see why alot of straight people don't like the gay life style, there is alot of it I myself don't like. (not MY lifestyle per se, but the lifestyles of other, more flamboyant gays)

I guess the purpose of this post is to say, really, that Judge a person on a 1 by 1 basis... It's not fair to assume we are all out for sex and infedelity... thats just not true.

one reason pride is a big sin, probably because its pushing yourself onto others and alienates them, and especially celebrating sin is a big no-no and even worse on a holy site, basically giving god the finger and vandalising his yard, sinning is one thing, its forgiveable but being proud of it and celebrating it on holy ground is a sin against god, not easily forgiven if at all.

Kinglizard dropped the truth bomb on this thread. We're all sinners. Get over yourselves.

BattleofBatoche
You're engaging in hate speech and I advise you to stop before you're warned, banned, arrested, imprisoned, and subsequently sodomized. It is illegal and unconscionable to advocate the killing of another human being on a forum, nevermind for something so simple and innocuous as political affiliation.

To those who think Zionists are pure and holy, and are against homosexuality and pedophillia, I suggest you scour the world for a copy of the Babylonian Talmud and educate yourself.

To those who think homosexuality is a sin, and believe Jesus Christ is the savior of man - forgive them their sins. That's what your religion is all about, remember?

No, of course you don't.

If two men or two women want to engage in sex acts, that behavior has no effect on those around them. If they want to get married, that behavior has no effect on those around them. If they want to stomp about and advocate the murder of non-gays, that's where a rational civilization draws the line. The funny thing is, gays have never advocated the murder of non-gays, unlike their bloodthirsty opposition.

I personally think gay pride parades are gaudy and offensive, but I don't have to watch do I? I also don't worship a pile of stones like a heathen monkey, so I don't worry about who walks where. If they march, and Jerusalem crumbles because of it, then so be it. I for one would be happy enough to see this whole situation resolved with a swift kick to the world's rear, via apocalypse.

I would guess that those in this thread spouting off about gays do a lot of sinning themselves....drinking. looking at porn, other woman/men, lusting, lie, sex outside of marriage...you all know this list could go on and on.....leave judging to god and mind your own business....worry about your own sins....

LOL.

It doesn't take long for someone to throw in the standard "homophobic" accusation does it.

Let's look at this from another angle:

If the homosexual pride also decided to sacrifice a few male virgins on the altar and people opposed that, would you still call those same people "homophobic"?

Why is it that a tag of "homophobic" is immediately thrown at the opposer?

The answer is quite simple - they have no other way of responding.

Do straight people go around and call male homosexuals "femalephobes"? No, we don't.

If someone opposes something I say or do, I simply accept the fact that they have an opinion and refrain from tagging people.

Simple really, isn't it

On another note, someone thre ina question about the "homosexuals" taking over the world etc...well, I thought it may be amusing to let you know that the words "gay" and "queer" have been hijacked so far...wonder what's next

Cheers

JS

PS: I refrain from using the term "gay", as this was taught to me to mean someone who is happy and jolly. I also do not use the word "queer" as this describes someone who is, simply, queer in the traditional sense. I also have not used the term "poof" as this is something that you put your feet on to relax. I have also refrained from using "poofter" as I thought this may offend some people...thus the use of the term homosexual.

No one said anything about 'worshiping" on holy grown. Its about a gay pride in your face abomination. No one said anything about judging either. God has judged and given the world rules. He even gave an example with the whole pilar of salt thingy after the glassing of Sodom.

Yes, all mankind but one has sinned. That is the purpose of "the" Church. If gays wish to repent and change. please do so. The bible is pretty specific about homosexuals, adultry, and other sins of "lust".

Bull! We throw it because that's exactly what it is! Why not pick on other sinners? Go down to the strip clubs and protest the nude or topless car washes they have...it's thrown at you on the radio constantly, in advertising.... that's "in your face" and isn't that a sin? Go and btch about the bars...they are advertising "party, party, get drunk and do it here" that's a sin too that's in your face a lot more than people marching to try to win rights! You guys like to pick and choose your sins...and it's always to homosexuals.....there's plenty of other sinful things to preach about....but then, you wouldn't want to preach about something that you might do yourselves would you?

I'm sorry...but if your not a Christian it is just ground! They are talking about "sin" here and many Christians tend to pick and choose their sins...you know it, I know and everyone else knows it! Either complain about them all, and abstain from them all...or shut up about it! SOme here just like to drag on and on about gays....makes one wonder what their real problem is....
Off to work...

I personaly don't have a problem with gays I have gay friends and I treat them just like anyone else I also don't like it when they try to push their sexuality on to others and I don't see a point in gay pride parades their gay big deal they don't have to keep parading around telling everyone about it and it could create more hate towards them and no I'm not a homophobe.

There are 1.987 Billion people that do think that there is a "holy" land. That is the aproximate number of Islam, Jews, and Christians in the world outside "china". It is typical of those who have no "values" to point fingers at those who do and yet scream "tollerance".

1/3 isn't majority rule horacid, not even close. I imagine the other 2/3 of the world couldn't care less who walks where, as long as personal space and personal liberty aren't infringed on. Hell, most of them are much more concerned with getting enough to eat and finding fresh drinking water. It kinda makes all this furor over a millenial fairy tale seem petty compared to the weight of world wide human suffering.

Then again, most people who are fixated on that pile of stones suffer from a clinically evident superiority complex, and that complex drives them to do insane things.

Now, now LadyV, no need to get emotional.

>>It doesn't take long for someone to throw in the standard "homophobic" accusation does it.

>>Why is it that a tag of "homophobic" is immediately thrown at the opposer?

>>The answer is quite simple - they have no other way of responding.

>Why not pick on other sinners?

Am I picking on homosexuals am I? I thought I was simply stating a fact about the word "homophobe" being bandied around too often...

>Go down to the strip clubs and protest the nude or topless car washes they have...it's thrown at you on the radio constantly, in advertising.... that's "in your face" and isn't that a sin?

I agree with you here and already protest in other ways how a debaucherous "attitiude" is promoted to the younger generation via TV and radio.

>Go and btch about the bars...they are advertising "party, party, get drunk and do it here" that's a sin too that's in your face...

It is a sin to party? Is it a sin to drink? I'm a bit confused here...Maybe getting drunk is a sin...but I can't recall any advertisement telling everyone to come down and "get drunk". I know if it happended in oz, the ABA would immediately ban the advertisement...not sure what it's like in the US though.

>...a lot more than people marching to try to win rights!

Rights? What rights? A homosexual can be a homosexual if they like -what's stopping them?

The day they try to "push" it on my kids...well, that's another story
I teach tolerance to children and that also means tolerating homosexuals, however toleration is totally different than acceptance and "joining the club", so to speak.

>You guys like to pick and choose your sins...and it's always to homosexuals.....there's plenty of other sinful things to preach about...

As do you I'm sure - we all do - not always to homosexuals though

Cheers

I am not homophobic, (which will probably be read as I am, which is also fine) but I do believe that any city anywhere in the world , especially one where religious beliefs run particularly high would have a problem with having a quarter of a million gays running up and down the streets in gold speedos and week long gay porn festivals, etc. Jerusalem has a population of just over a half a million. This is not Rome with several millions. I would suggest that the World Pride would have found it impossible to hold this celebration in any city in the US with a population of approximately 500 000 people. And yes gayness is considered an affront to all of these religions - Christian, Jewish and Muslim, but I guess its ok to rub their face in it? This is also not the way to find tolerance. Respecting peoples beliefs requires you to understand that they don't want you to force it upon them. If this were the Jerusalem Gay Pride day, where all the local gays came out and marched up and down the street singing "I will survive" while being dressed up like Cher and Bette Midler - I would say "You go girl!". But this is 250 000 foreigners saying "I'm here , I'm queer."

"World Pride, organized by InterPride, the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered Pride Coordinators, was previously held in 2000 in Rome, where it attracted about a quarter of a million participants. Images of the Rome festivities, featured on various homosexual websites, shows throngs of shirtless men in shorts and bikini briefs congregated on the streets, some of them holding hands."

It really gets tiring having Christians trying to cram their religion down everyone's throats. Worship your gods, fine, just don't ask for special treatment, and keep it at home!
