I have always lived mainly in East Texas, I have seen many buzzards. But I have never seen many many buzzards in one place. When I usually see them
cirling something I know that a cow has died or that something has died. That is how we kept up with over 5,000 acres that I lived on. I had never
seen more than 5-10 birds in one place. Except when we would butcher cows once or twice a year. Just for meat for the rest of the year. Most of the
time right after spring time ended when the cattle were very Healthy.
Anyhow, the other day for the second time I saw about 40-50 birds flying circling around each other. More Buzzards ... Scavengers than I have ever
seen in my life. It was rediculous. They flew over about I am guessing 50-75 acres before finally dispensing. They were flying low right behind my
house almost as if they weree looking for something dead ... That is the only imitation of anything I have seen these birds do. But, I am not sure
what could be going on or if anything was dead nothing smelled dead. Who knows /?? Just wanted to know was there anyway to make birds work for you ?
Or put equiptment on birds such as video equiptment and monitor it ?/? Just wondering ..

I guess it's the "dead angle" that might make this paranormal (but please edit your all caps title).
Um, something is up with birds in general now though. They're a bit off. There's been lots of coverage on ATS about that the past few years.
Possibly as a precursor to something big, like a polar shift, but just speculation.
My town has it with crows. They circle all day. It just started about 2-3 years ago ( when I moved here actually). The state came to investigate
and several newspapers ran pictures of the daily event. Just bizarre.
Circling, circling... never have before. By the hundreds too. Went on a couple years.
Dealt with now though. *picks teeth*

Is it just carrion birds displaying this strange behavior? That certainly (and unscientifically) seems like some kind of omen if it is. I have heard
that disturbances in the earth's magnetc field can baffle the navigational ability of some migratory birds.

There was an incident with me, years ago, in the early morning hours we were going squirrel hunting. As the first light of day came I was amazed-
buzzards were everywhere in the trees. It was spooky, there had to be hundreds of them, if not thousands, I know, sounds kind of far fetched but it
happened. We discharged a shotgun and the sky went dark with buzards. I always thought they were mating, and having a big congregation. Possibly this
is the cause of what you saw, might be buzzards mate in spring? This happened in Alabama.

I have been tracking Bible prophecy and the coming judgment on America.
The next major attack against the country has been mentioned as a nuclear or dirty bomb in either Los Angeles or San Antonio, TX.
While many will think this is a random attack, few would understand the
spiritual significance of this judgment for the evil we do against God and His ways.
So, God brings the birds, the carrion eating birds, to congregate to be ready to eat of the flesh of the bodies that will be left in the fields and
streets. No terrorist or government can control that.
Revelation Chapter 19
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in mid-air, "Come, gather together for the great supper
of God,
18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small
and great."
What kind of birds would accept that invitation?......
You don't have to believe me. When it happens, you'll know, and you'll believe then, and some may turn to the Lord before the end. Time is
short, indeed.

It's not unusual to see 40-50 buzzards together. In fact there are about 200-300 (maybe more) that hang around the local landfill. I have a couple
of pictures of them perching on several nearby towers. It's an amazing sight.

I just knew I shouldn't have watched The Core the other day...
Did you search the immediate area under the birds, or know of anything there that might have attracted them??? A landfill maybe, with some recent
food trash dumped may be to blame?

Umm wouldn't the bomb kill the birds too. Maybe gods masterplan is to wipe out buzzards and crows forever.

This could be VERY VERY POSSIBLE ... and I am not from here ... I know certain species go to certain places to hibernate or to mate. Or to feed. or
whatever. Could be Lufkin is this place for those 50-100 birds.

This brings back a nasty memory- in 2000 I tore down an old AT&T microwave tower, you know the red and white ones that have the huge, ice cream cone
looking dishes on them, they have been outdated for years. Anyhow, the tower was home to about 50 buzzards. Talking about nasty- the tower site ground
was covered in bones and giant hairballs. The tower itself was covered in mites, man ws that a nasty tower. We washed in bleach water when we hit the
ground. This tower was in Valdosta, GA. Every morning I would have to take a sledge hammer and whack the tower a half dozen times or so to get them to
fly away. They will puke on you if you get to close to them, that is their natural defence mechanism.

This would make sense ... but these birds were not over a landfill ... They were flying LOW circling each other as if they were scavenging for food.
As if they sensed food but they were flying over the nicest neighborhood in LUFKIN .. Crown Colony ... Do a couple searches on it ... It is the only
nice spot in this town the rest of this town is filled with run down places. And also it is almost as a consiracy to this town ... Noone is friendly
here ... you know I am in East Texas .... you go through any other town in East Texas you will meet the friendliest people. I am not sure why this is
... other than alot of cover-ups that noone talks about or ... I am not sure ... anyways ... something is going on with all of those birds flying over
the nicest neighborhood in town. All of the trash and trash or scavenger material would be on the other side of town.

These birds ... are notgoing to be around the city. The birds in all actuality would be scavenging where there were really food. Untill the bomb went
off then thier would be food for all the birds in the USA. To come and start feeding.

Journey, I didn't know that was their defense mechanism! Gross! That must have been a dirty job for you! lol
bet555, how did you come up with your signature? I'm in total agreement. I live in Austin. Nice to see a fellow Texan.
I really don't know the reason for the bird's behavior. Heck, I have two birds of my own and can't understand their behavior half of the time!

whether it be a local neighborhood ... or a bank ... or what ???

You are right. If God was going to gather the birds around for the feast, He would keep them around in the nearby (100 miles or more) away
countryside to be out of the range of the blast and radiation and arrive a few days later as radiation dissipates to a fraction of the incident level
to assist in the disposal of the bodies. Look, I am not completely sure that this is the exact reason for this particular gathering, but it
certainly fits the preparatory steps for the end-times prophecy and we do know that America is going to be seriously nuked before 2008, most likely in
the summer 2007. Prior to that will be another wave of Nuclear bombs (3-4)
across the US and an early attack is in LA or San Antonio. Time is short.

Why San Antonio or LA ??? Why would someone pick that target to exploit. When they have factories already blowing up byu themselves in Houston ...
Like BP and all the other factories in League City, La Marque, Santa Fe. If something did explode, it would catch and may not stop for days.
