Where is that spirit? you asked. We grew up and became the Senators, Congressmen, Govenors and Presidents that you so avidly trash.

Oh, you mean those who are so thoroughly compromised they cannot even begin to truly champion the interests of their constituents? Are those the same closet homo leaders that preach perfection and point fingers while being filmed being compromised by male prostitutes PRETENDING to be journalists?

It would be laughable if it weren't so tragic.

I tell you this world is coming to an end when Jesus is not longer a socialist and is now a comunist.

Now space aliens are orange? Really?

you [im refering to the person who started this thread] act like the US is the only country wo has conducted "illegal invasions"

was the german invasion of poland "legal?"

was the german invasion of russia "legal?"

was the japanes invasion of mainland asia "legal?"

was the invasion of the allusions(sp) islands "legal?"

was the sneak attack on pearl harbor "legal?"

would a suprise invasion of south korea by the north be "legal?"

would a suprise invasion of wester europe by warsaw pact and soviet forces been "legal?"

of course not, its only "illegal" to the corupt UN.

and who are you to decide wether military action by any country is legal or illegal. you act like the rest of the world is a bunch of saints when they are just as bad, so what if it hasnt happend recently, other countries are quilty of the same thing.

I thought long and hard whether or not I should answer. If I saw a glimmer of hope then I would continue to debate with you. But this last post pretty well sums up where you are coming from. With that said I will leave you to your opinions!

There's no way to defend the actions I described above. That's why the administration and media have completely downplayed this and blacked it out. Forget about the fact that it is a grave breach of national security.:shk:

All this time I thought there was a difference between the failure of a person or group as a human being(s) and the failure of a complete generation of Americans. How utterly convienant of you to throw everyone into the same box. Makes a much neater package with so much less thought or effort. Wish I could afford to do the same. Certainly would make my life easier. Unfortunately I find the world a more complex place. I have found through my many years that I know less than I originally thought and have few answers. I am gald to see that you do not suffer this same affliction.

Hey, I thot George Bush won? I thot the MAJORITY of Americans voted for him? That's what the right claims, anyway. So, by your logic, the MAJORITY of Americans are BRAINDEAD. My bad.

I'm a sinner and I'm the first to admit it, btw. I may be a sinner; but I'm not braindead and I'm nobody's sheep.

So you are saying that anyone who doesn't agree or accept your point of view is braindead. You are saying that we are all sheep that just follow the
herdsman with the sheep dogs nipping at our heals to keep us in line. Interesting concept. Blows one of my theories all to hell. Didn't realize you were capable of abstract thinking. Although the usage of the sheep remark
tends to point more to less maturity. Perhaps you were neglected as a child. Hence the need for the nursery ryhme reference. Oh and the cute little in your face dance, reminds me of my 6 yr old grandson. Come to think of it, he kinda thinks like you too. Has to be his way or no way. Nice thing about being a granpa is when he shows his ass, I just give him back to his parents.

Ooohhh... somebody's sensitive!

I stand by my comments.

Sensitive? Sure life has a way of breaking down the hard outer shell. Burying young soldiers killed in action kinda works on you too. Especially when I see someone abusing their freedom of speech at the expense of others sacrifice. But go ahead, trash my country, trash the citizens and thier spirit if it makes you feel more significant. Go burn a flag, hell burn two it is only cloth. People like me will just go about our dead, useless existence until someone like you comes along and pulls us out of this s*** hole we are living in. Me? I think I'll just go polish my medals, maybe I'll cry a little as I go through old photo albums. Might even have a drink as I think about some of my buddies that died in combat. I'll remember how they loved thier country so much that they gave thier lives. I'll remember how proud they were to be an American. Then I'll remember how each one of them, wanted to come back home and be a part of this braindead society
we call America. Then I'll read or hear something utterly hateful and ridiculous that you or some other FREE AMERICAN says about this great land and I'll think God that I am just another sensitive, braindead American.

And young man, I stand by everyone of my words as well.

I'm a veteran of the Gulf War. If you think I care any less than you, you are sadly mistaken.

I too was at the Gulf, that is were I was wounded and recieved my Purple Heart. I spent two years in rehab learning to walk again. Served two tours of duty in Nam were I won the Silver Star. There were several campaigns in between. I was an Instructor before I was forced to retire. My back ground is not really important but I wanted you to see where I am coming from. I salute your service, but I respectfully disagree with you regarding the state of America.

'The Iraqi invasion was illegal' ... this always cracks me up. What a hoot.

Hello? It's WAR. War is war. War was declared against America. Did
the radical muslims check with the UN to see if it was legal for them to
do so? NO. Did Hitler check with anyone to see if it was legal for him
to try to take over the world? NO. Did the Brits check and see if it were
legal for them to fight the Germans in WWII? NO. War is war. There
is no legal guide book to determine if war is 'legal'. The UN may think
it runs the world, but it doesn't (UN Res 1441 covers Iraq anyways).
They aren't the legal rulers of the planet ... however they are
the biggest thieves the world has ever known. The Oil for Food thefts
are the biggest in recorded history. That'll be Koffi's (and the UN's)
legacy. World's biggest thieves. You want us to check with the
biggest thieves and liars the world has ever known to get an 'okay'
to go into Iraq to liberate the masses from Saddam, and to further
the cause of freedom, which in turn makes the world safer?
You are funny!

'two presidential elections have been stolen' ?? MORE FUNNY!
Denial. Face it. Al Gore lost and then whined about it for years.
John Kerry was probably the WORST the dems could put forth and
he absolutely lost because he was incompetant. If Biden or Lieberman
or even Hillary had been the dem choice ... the outcome would
probably have been different.

That's the beauty of living in this great nation. We can hold different points of view without fear of reprisal. Instead of tearing each other apart, seems like we should all be big enough and intellectually confident enuff to hear each other out and agree to disagree when we don't see eye to eye. In debate, all points of view are valuable.
