I am sorry to read this, it reads like you had to make a hard decision. Look up, remember the good times.
It's hard, you won't be able to replace her, but you can offer a home to another animal that otherwhise wouldn't find a home when you feel ready.

I am so sorry for your loss.
It is hard enough losing a pet, with their short lifespans. But it is so much harder, losing them to an illness or health problem early.

my Mum had a bloody poodle when I was growing up, so many years latter I still miss that dog.
