It was 14 years ago AlfreD couldn't take "the old normal" anymore, quit his job, the flat, sold his stuff and equipped himself with camping gear.

From then on life was a colourful and adventurous ride that finally brought him and his family to a secluded place in the mountains.
There he spent years, as his son grew physically he did spiritually. Isolated from the worlds hectic, the immersion in nature was whole.
The healing was quick and the energy pure. His sensitivity grew as did his sons hight.

By the time his mind unlocked he was able to distinguish his own feelings from others and the purity of source energies. Which gave him enough confidence to try and venture out.
But what he was to learn about the world he thought to know, was beyond his wildest dreams.

It all started with a kundalini meditation, which brought him to a inhabited world he never knew existed.

As he didn't know what to do with the experience he seeked advice. Little did he know that his step would gain so much momentum to make such a splash.
The ripples this caused made him stumble hard.

All sorts of unpleasant interferences started to torment his life as he stumbled forward, each experience leaving a piece of the puzzle. And after escaping death several times, He made it through the void.

The learning curve was steep and broad.
Before him was a world of wonders and beautys, equal to the fears and terrors. A world so diffrent yet familiar with all its peculiarities to endorse and refuse. Beings of infinite benevolence, followed by their mean counterparts. All of this and more was his new normal....

Stronger and wiser than before, he put himself to work. The whole winter he rid the aether of the ones that wronged him. There are more than enough he learned and now knew, that he could count the ones that didn't on one hand.

Soon enough he started to get a feeling for time. he could see a line like a graph with wobbles, extending into the void.
It showed him events and situations to avoid and when to thread extra calm innorder not to be affected by the wobbles to come.

There was a big decision on the verge as his son was ready to socialise. And he told the mother, that if they were to move it has to be before march, as he sees big wobbles coming.
To his surprise she listened and they all moved back to civilisation, on the 14. February just a couple of days before the whole continent went into lockdown.

Everything around him changed but his new normal was still the same....

The (beginning of a new) End

I very much enjoyed your story. It's a tale of transitions and people moving about in an ever-changing world.

All sorts of unpleasant interferences started to torment his life as he stumbled forward, each experience leaving a piece of the puzzle.

Some very nice turns of phrase there also. Good read!

change is the only constant in the universe, Einstein was a better philosopher than he was a mathematician...

thank you for the kind words, they mean alot coming from such a versed writer. I`m glad you enjoyed the read.

having super moderator status could you fix that "inro" to "into". I know there are more errors, but this one really bugs me.

Agree that Einstein was more a philosopher than mathematician. Even his thought experiments worked on an intuitive level, a logical prose, than a mathematical one. I think Einstein learned the math necessary to express his ideas, but didn't really yearn for mathematical expression. JMHO. I think his mind worked in dimensional expressions that most of us are capable of, but don't arrive at intuitively as he did.

Yes, fixed. It may not have been right that I did so. I read your story twice, and my mind didn't catch the misspelling either time. I would guess that most people who read it did not, however I understand your desire to fix it.

I read my own stories and I see things which I would like to change, and I have the ability, but it wouldn't be right to do so where others cannot, so I don't change them. Sometimes the organic prose which we originally create is the best. It's from the gut.
