A founding member of the Oath Keepers arrested in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol has agreed to plead guilty and cooperate against others in the case — the first defendant to potentially flip in the sprawling domestic terrorism investigation that has led to charges against more than 400 people.

that's bound to have some people nervous... will be interesting to see what is ultimately exposed about the level of coordination behind the day's events, and the players involved. stay tuned for drama!

Schaffer, 53, a guitarist and lead songwriter for the heavy metal band Iced Earth, was charged on Friday by criminal information, a type of charging document used when a defendant waives the right to an indictment.

Huh...I remember buying one of their CD's when I was a teenager cause I liked the album art. Music was kinda Meh though. Who woulda thought he was a leader of the oath keepers.

Yes. The level of coordination and players involved may be entirely different than who you may be expecting.

Yes, the super dangerous sprawling terrorist group that protested and "stormed" the capital with no weapons, no militia, and no plan to hold it. Right.

Oh it's okay if they burn down their neighbors shops and neighbors houses....but when people take it to the actual enemy then that's when the government loving ass kissing lefties draw the line.

Except Stewart Rhodes is the founder of Oathkeepers. If the #ScumMedia can't even get that right why believe anything they say?

Nobody is nervous because nothing really happened. The only shots fired were by capitol police.

Let me know when the last year of riots and attacks on federal buildings gets any coverage or arrest and I'll care.

Suppose he did trespass. Would probably have a hard time proving he didn’t trespass.

Seems weird to me to hold people for months in solitary with no bail on simple trespassing charges. What even is the penalty, like a $500 fine?
