People on Twitter and around social media are talking about the show Black Mirror and robot dogs made by Boston Dynamics. They work with Police in New York.

They were over in Singapore telling people to social distance.

The Air Force is working with robot dogs.

Here's a Chinese company video of a robot dog army.

Here's the robot dog from Black Mirror.

This is important to take notice of because of the way technology advances.

Think about the old block cell phones to flip phones to smart phones. Also, slow dial up connection where it took 2 days to download a 10 minute video to today where we're downloading and streaming with ease.

So today they're a remote controlled curiosity but in 10-20-30 years you could have some advanced robot dogs and other robot animals that are very advanced and some autonomous. They will have to be autonomous eventually becuse of human inefficiency and error. Here's a robot cheetah.

You can see robot dogs, cheetahs, birds, insects and more. Also robot soldiers.

If Neven's law or anything like it replaces Moore's law for quantum computers where growth occurs twice as fast as Moor's law, these robot dogs will look and act differently in short order. You can see how Genus Robo could rise and be very advanced in 20-30 years or sooner.

What this could lead to is a sufficient method to hunt and
possibly kill future dissidents.

Yep, it will lead right where Black Mirror showed it would.

So many possible good applications, to many people with bad intentions.

But who is going to pick up all the dead batteries they will drop everywhere?

Small glass jars of half aluminum powder, Kevlar threads 4 to 6 inches, top the jar up with super glue. Throw at target.

Robot rabbits and robot foxes.

Sorry I can’t help myself sometimes.

Edit. JK. It’s gonna be more like the Black Mirror episode in black and white with them in it....

You are talking high tech-a lassoo or a net would be cheaper.
Or if you want to be real fancy, chuck some paint onto the sensors.

I see laws to be written over this.

All parts of all robots that roam off the robot owners physical property will need to have serial numbers for tracking back to the robot that it fell off of. The owner of the robot must reimburse any expense encountered from this dropped part. This includes any injury caused by encountering any part up to and including charges of manslauder to the robot owner should the part be picked up by a lawnmower or other device and cause fatal enjury to the device operator or any bystanders.

Sounds like a good fourth law of robotics.

I propose the 5th law should be that the robots should all have comical masks so as not to scare children or the easily triggered or the soon to be invented "robophobes".
Like this:

The 6th law should be that Yoko Ono is not allowed to upload her consciousness into a robot again after the first attempt.
It just worked too well, and should not be allowed to happen again under any circumstances:
