I really didn't expect this topic to go so far.

Good point. Actions are much more important than words or symbols

Neither did I but i obviously underestimated the level of stupidity today. We have individuals with serious mental health issues. These people used to be ignored but thanks to twitter these nut cases get a voice. I blame the media for this they treat twitter as news.

Sadly people have killed this womans company because they have a mental disorder. Anyone that believed this has severe issues

Neither. It's just more of leftists seeing things that aren't there. How come they are the only ones to constantly see/hear these dog whistles?

Near tears

Just to be clear, CPAC is opposed to the current administration.

So if you're opposed to the current administration, you're a nazi?

You’re above those kinds of games, man. Or has ATS just devolved to false equivalencies across the board?

I know if I belonged to a group that was constantly mislabeled as nazis and white supremacists, I’d most likely do what I could to ensure that didn’t continue and try to dispel any questioning behind it. Standing on a f*cking stage that’s a literal nazi symbol doesn’t exactly scream “Hey man, we’re not nazis!”

I think one of the reasons, probably the main one, is that people who are going to make those associations will do so without any reason or encouragement - regardless of the symbology involved. All you have to do in this country to be called a militant white supremacist is be white, and be proud of your heritage. If you believe in legal immigration, that is the last nail in the coffin. Congratulations, according to democrats you are now a terrorist.

The sort of people who use words like homophobe, nazi, hater, as weapons don't need a valid reason to use them. If they had a valid reason they wouldn't have to say anything at all. Even if you display no symbology at all you will be "likened to" groups that do based on your beliefs.

Does anyone believe that every so-called white supremacist uses some sort of nazi symbol? And don't forget the double standard involved here as well. Remember that photo-op of nancy and the other high ranking dems in congress kneeling with the African scarfs and hats? Well that particular pattern, Kente, is symbolic of slavery. If republicans had done that they would have immediately been branded as white supremacists. No questions asked. Its obvious, right?

It's the mindset of this culture that you are what they accuse you of, unless you actively deny and denouce it. And even then they just return with, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" as further justification.

It's authoritarian in nature, assuming guilt, wrong-think based upon the opinions of a few small people.

i want to know how come you are not distancing yourself from people who torture animals? I mean, we all must constantly signal our virtues, and make sure the entire world is always 100% clear about who we love and who we hate. And if we might not mention it, its us cozying up to them. So I'd say that since neither you, nor I, have gone on at length int he last 24 hours about how much we dislike torturing small woodland creatures, perhaps its just a sign of our inner sickness?

Serious question... Do Buddhists still "use" their swastika symbol or did they "cancel" it.. I've read that they had it well before Nazis came to being and it is their symbol for "peace" or something. Unsure if it is a true story or not. If true, I am surprised the crazy portion of the leftists haven't canceled Buddhists from movies and TV(both characters who portray a Buddhist[extras too] or an actor/actress who follows the religion).

It's an ancient symbol, though I believe it was reversed..I will say this..I doubt it is currently used, because..well, you know.

wow... you leftists surely need some new distraction...

BTW, IF they knew that stage represented some nazi symbol, why is it upside down when you look at it?

Wouldn't an upside down symbol represent the opposite of what a nazi symbol represents?...

If I was inclined to do it, I am sure I would find several symbols in democrat stages that represent white supremacy...

Heck, what about the FACT that democrats have implemented policies used by the nazis?... Isn't that a more clear fact that the real nazis are the democrats?...

Democrats have also used propaganda to claim that any news sources that are not left-wing are false, which the nazis also used...

25 Points of NSDAP
...
We demand legal opposition to known lies and their promulgation through the press. In order to enable the provision of a German press, we demand, that a: All writers and employees of the newspapers appearing in the German language be members of the race b: Non-German newspapers be required to have the express permission of the State to be published. They may not be printed in the German language c: Non-Germans are forbidden by law any financial interest in German publications or any influence on them and as punishment for violations the closing of such a publication as well as the immediate expulsion from the Reich of the non-German concerned. Publications which are counter to the general good are to be forbidden. We demand legal prosecution of artistic and literary forms which exert a destructive influence on our national life, and the closure of organizations opposing the above made demands.
...

25 Points of NSDAP

If you replace "A German press, or true Germans" with "far left-wingers being the only source of news" this point, and others of the nsdap are entirely what the far left/left/democrats are doing and have been doing since the Obama/Biden administration.

As for "but Obama, Harris, etc are black (Harris is also Indian) or some other race... Well, minority groups also allied themselves with the nazis, including Indians, Turkish, etc...

Heck, AOC's chief of staff has worn on several occasions a t-shirt of his idol Subhas Chandra Bose, an Indian fascist whom worked with and for the nazi regime...

Link

Democrats demonized the POTUS, and everyone whom supports him which includes millions of minority Americans. They claim to this day that his conservative values makes him "insane..." Another tactic used by the nazis and other far left dictatorships...

...
It was actually psychiatrists who initiated and carried it all out on such a massive scale. Nazis were the first in history to use extermination camps and all done with such chilling organization.

The two main areas that psychiatrists concentrated on were sterilization and euthanasia. They were responsible for reporting these “patients” over to the authorities and from there, to the gas chambers, killing over 200,000 people deemed mentally ill. These included many thousands of feeble-minded children. The real intention was to rid the master race of “undesirables.”

Psychiatry expanded their vast control by broadening the definition of mental illness to include political disobedience. Thus, psychiatry became a tool of and ally to the government, particularly the Nazi-controlled regime.
...

Nazism and Psychiatry

Several far left so called "experts" have stated that this claim that President Trump is insane could be used to oust him, and such attempts were tried.

What's more, whom is one of the number one idols of the left?... MARGARET SANGER, a freaking NAZI, white supremacist whom often spoke about race purity...

She also often spoke about the ultimate goal of hers, other eugenicist AND NAZIS, which was to exterminate whom these aholes, Margaret Sanger and her friends, labeled as "weeds of humanity." Which also included Americans with disabilities as well as blacks, and others...

Let's not forget the letter that Sanger sent to her criminal ahole Dr. J. C. Gamble In which she specifically states that they don't want black people to think that they, the eugenicists and nazis, were trying to exterminate the black race. She mentions that black people are "ignorant and supersticious.

Margaret Sanger Letter to dr. J.C. Gamble

What's more, friends of Margaret Sanger, including dr. J. C. Gamble targeted black people and forcefully sterilized them such as the following woman...

What's more, the nazis were the first "enviro-lunatics" and gave more rights to animals than to humans... Which to this days it is what the left stands for... Even in these forums we have had leftists post threads about "how chickens are being mistreated and we must do something". Yet these same people are proclaiming to this day that human beings that are unborn are not human and thus should not be protected and can be murdered for any selfish reason...

So own the fact that it is you left-wingers, lovers of abortion/murder, whom are following the footsteps of nazis, and other socialist/communist dictatorships...

To this day almost 80% of abortion clinics are at and target minority neighborhoods...

One more thing...

Which side, the left or the right, are to this day claiming that "a certain race" is the reason for the problems in the U.S. and the world?...

To this day that side is still using RACE as a problem that needs to be solved just like the nazis did...

Think about it and then let me know what you think that side in the political spectrum is...

In case you don't want to answer, the answer is the left are to this day going after a RACE, as well as going after successful Capitalists, and the left to this day are claiming that RACE, and Capitalists, are the reason for the problems in the world.... Which Hitler argued as well as the reason for targeting certain races, and Capitalists whom dared not do what the nazi regime demanded they should do "for the good of the collective..."

What side would this day argue the following points?...

...Without doubt, man is the most dangerous microbe imagin-able. He exploits the ground beneath his feet without ever asking whether he is disposing thus of products that would perhaps be indispensable to the life of other regions.
...

The above was a belief held by Hitler written on page 4 of the book "table Talk."

On page 5 & 6 of the book "Table Talk" it states hitler mentions...

3 Night of 11 th-12 th July 1941
...
At the end of the last century the progress of science and technique led liberalism astray into proclaiming man's mastery of nature, and announcing that he would soon have dominion over space. But a simple storm is enough—and everything collapses like a pack of cards!
In any case, we shall learn to become familiar with the laws by which life is governed, and acquaintance with the laws of nature will guide us on the path of progress.

Whom these days argue the following as well...

Sparta must be regarded as the first völkisch state. The exposure of the sick, weak, deformed children, in short, their destruction, was more decent and in truth a thousand times more human than the wretched insanity of our day which preserves the most pathological subject. Adolf Hitler

Whom argues these things these days?...

Thanks to Hitler, hunting with hounds is still verboten
The Fuhrer, a vegetarian, was the pioneer of hunting bans. His draconian laws were announced in Germany on July 3, 1934, on the grounds that hunting with hounds was 'unsporting'. His odd legacy lives on, report David Harrison and Tony Paterson.
...
Professor Kershaw said that there was "a curiously ethical side" to the Nazis reforms. "The Nazis wanted a clean kill and felt that it was wrong to cause unnecessary suffering to the animal being hunted," he said.

"So the new laws banned all field sports that involved training and using animals to kill game and vermin. There was a belief that if you put an animal through unnecessary torture you were somehow injuring the feelings of the German nation."

The official Nazi biography, which was written by Erich Gritzbach, says: "Goering is a fanatical friend of animals. He says: 'Whoever tortures animals violates the instincts of the German people.'

...
For it was the German government and not the nominal private owners that exercised all of the substantive powers of ownership: it, not the nominal private owners, decided what was to be produced, in what quantity, by what methods, and to whom it was to be distributed, as well as what prices would be charged and what wages would be paid, and what dividends or other income the nominal private owners would be permitted to receive. The position of the alleged private owners, Mises showed, was reduced essentially to that of government pensioners.

Why Nazism Was Socialism and Why Socialism Is Totalitarian

Abortion in Germany - Wikipedia
...
Legalization of abortion was first widely discussed in Germany during the early 20th century. When Germany became a country in 1871, section 218 of the Constitution outlawed abortion, requiring a penal term for both the woman and the doctor involved. During the Weimar Republic, such discussion led to a reduction in the maximum penalty for abortion, and in 1926 a court's decision legalized abortion in cases of grave danger to the life of the mother. Nazi Germany's eugenics laws liberalized abortion for both Aryan and non-Aryan women. Aryan women could obtain an abortion simply by demonstrating that either parent had an hereditary defect, or that the child would be born with a congenital defect. Non-Aryan women were "encouraged" to utilize contraception and abortion in order to reduce their populations.[2][citation needed]

In Nazi Germany, the penalties for abortion were increased again. In 1943, providing an abortion to an Aryan woman became a capital offense. Abortion was permitted if the fetus was deformed or disabled.

After all, that’s exactly why we call ourselves National Socialists! We want to start by implementing socialism in our nation among our Volk! It is not until the individual nations are socialist that they can address themselves to international socialism.

Adolf Hitler as quoted by Otto Wagener in Hitler—Memoirs of a Confidant, editor, Henry Ashby Turner, Jr., Yale University Press (1985) p. 288
...

...
To put it quite clearly: we have an economic programme. Point No. 13 in that programme demands the nationalisation of all public companies, in other words socialisation, or what is known here as socialism. … the basic principle of my Party’s economic programme should be made perfectly clear and that is the principle of authority… the good of the community takes priority over that of the individual. But the State should retain control; every owner should feel himself to be an agent of the State; it is his duty not to misuse his possessions to the detriment of the State or the interests of his fellow countrymen. That is the overriding point. The Third Reich will always retain the right to control property owners. If you say that the bourgeoisie is tearing its hair over the question of private property, that does not affect me in the least. Does the bourgeoisie expect some consideration from me?… Today’s bourgeoisie is rotten to the core; it has no ideals any more; all it wants to do is earn money and so it does me what damage it can. The bourgeois press does me damage too and would like to consign me and my movement to the devil.

Because your argument is false... Just like the false claim that President Trump never said anything wrong about/condemned nazis and white supremacists when he has in fact talked about it several times throughout the years...

President Trump has in fact condemned the kkk, white supremacists MANY TIMES, despite the left-wing/mainstream media claiming the contrary...
