Pope Francis has warned that mankind is facing a second great flood caused by climate change unless leaders act to fix corruption and injustice.

The 84-year-old said that, in the story of the great flood in the Bible, God used his wrath to punish injustice and 'clean up' the world.

He then added that humanity is facing another 'great deluge, perhaps due to a rise in temperature and the melting of glaciers.

'[That is] what will happen now if we continue on the same path,' he said.

Leader of the Catholic Church Clearly Doesn't Know Squat About the Holy Bible

Who is this moronic ass who is clearly clueless about the Word of the very God he claims to be the Earthly emissary of? My heart breaks for Catholics who remained with the Church after this antipope took power... he and the twisted evil spirits that lead to him becoming pope are the main reason I am no longer part of the Catholic faith.

Genesis 9:10-9:12
Source

and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth—every living thing that came out of the ark. 11And I establish My covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:…

Perhaps this pope could extract his head from his ass long enough to realize that the rainbow symbology that he seems to believe is associated with homosexuality was actually a symbol of God's promise to never again destroy the Earth with a flood over the depravity of man (much of which Francis, himself, celebrates and endorses through his active destruction of moral Catholic underpinnings, traditions, and dogmas.)

We are in the end times and the destruction of the Church, facilitated from the top down, is just one more unmissable sign of that fact.

The on-going cancel culture efforts are apparent even at the level of the Pope. I don't care much for the Vatican or what they represent.

Their Pedo Priests are a disgrace (who should have already faced the wrath of men) and I would crucify them all if I had such power.

The prophecy in Revelation said that when people would be ruining the earth the time would come to judge and also for God to bring to ruin those ruining the earth. There are an entire 2 chapters in Revelation (chapters 17 and 18) that have to do with the judgement on the prostitute, of which the Catholic Church is a major part:

"The appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

-Revelation 11:18.

You are right about the rainbow. God did promise the earth would never again be destroyed by a deluge and gave the rainbow in the sky as a reminder of that oath.

At least God keeps his word. He still sees the rainbow in the sky every time it rains and remembers his covenant with Noah.

The coming destruction will be by fire:

"But by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people."

-2 Peter 3:7.

The pope should be busy warning of this impending divine retribution. God isn't going to let mankind ruin the earth beyond repair. He promised he wouldn't.

Sadly the Church has lost his power, liberalism killed religion in America and covid
:lol

It was a time in history where the church had power over the masses using scaremongering, now politicians does that.

This FAKE, NON-Christian/Non-Catholic pedophile-defending communist usurper "Pope", "warns" about a global warming "flood".

Seriously ?

We should obey his highly debatable "flood" FICTION ?

After this same guy denied KNOWN incontrovertible facts ? He not only defended pedophiles in South America , but even attacked the victims !!!!!

We should listen to him why, exactly ?

So God says no more flood, but the pope says flood?

I'm confused.

I was baptized Catholic, and went to Catholic school for 12 years.
The Catholic Church has changed very much in my lifetime.
It used to be very anti-Communist, and we see now it favors socialism. And meddles in the politics of countries.
I think it has been infiltrated by the same factions that have infiltrated the U.S. and other countries.

I hope it will survive, as through the centuries it has faced other eras of corruption.

And, FWIW...I am by no means a bible scholar...but didn't God promise never to flood the world again?

I would say it is at least the third and this would not be a great flood though very great tracts of land, city's and entire nations would be lost to the rising waters.

The reason I say the third is based on my own faith and can be summed up in this bible passage and the following TWO different but equally true Noah's Ark's, (The one on Ararat is OUR Ark the one before from a previous world predating OUR Eden and had it's own Noah a different Noah but God saw fit to land them both in the same region.

All things are wearisome, more than one can describe; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear content with hearing. 9What has been will be again, and what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. 10Is there a case where one can say, “Look, this is new”? It has already existed in the ages before us.

Too many have seen this for it to be a lie, there are even members on this site whose family's saw or knew of it who lived in the region long ago.
noahsark.it...

And as for this, well it's TOO OLD, it has to be from a previous epoch, a previous Noah but one that survived through the entire last epoch from the previous Eden to our current age (perhaps even through a previous harvest and judgement day).

However this second account is subjective as there have been OTHER accounts of fossilized ship's, one from ancient Rome were a ship turned fully to stone fell out of a crevice in the Apennine mountains (the so called Spine of Italy) onto a roman road after a landslide and had to be cleared away, another from north America that was included in some early conspiracy books from the 70's about miners finding one preserved in a deep clay deposit complete with skeletons and strange writing hundreds of feet underground and many other's.

Of course the truth could be just ONE great flood and many ship's, not all perhaps made it to there destination.

But another great flood, not on the same scale perhaps as I believe that is a quantum event and has to to do with merging worlds particular with one that is separated from ours by a boundary that God created separating the reality's but which if brought into alignment with our own world then that other different earth's oceans are miles above even our highest mountains and it's sea bed much deeper since it is a world made more of water than ours is but probably weighing the same and in the same orbit just in another parallel reality.

Even when we had no polar ice caps in this world the ocean's still left plenty of land, more shallow seas also causes sea life to thrive to levels not seen in todays world.

It's one reason I take offense to the Appropriation of the rainbow symbol though as it is a biblical symbol representing hope and mercy and has nothing to do with those that have misappropriated the symbol today, in fact they have more in common with Noah's least favoured son who dishonoured his own father.

The church have change a lot, I also grew up in the catholic church, baptized, did my first communion, Sunday school and got married in the Catholic church with a big wedding. Now back then before getting married you had to got to classes and get a certificate in order to get married, my brother was an altar boy, too.

Back then I liked the church, now I can not believe on any organized religion.

There is Christian Communal society (more like Kibbutz) and Communism and they are very different things (See the story about Ananias and Sapphira in the bible for another view of there early communal society living before they were driven completely underground and became house church's and gathered in secret during the early persecution - prior to this and even into the early days of the persecution perhaps even up to the co-opting of the faith as a tool of imperial state when Constantine took it over and a bunch of formerly heathen priests from the empires old religions had to find new stations for themselves so moved over into the Christian - new state - church and it's temples they had shared all they earned, looked after there poorest members and helped even non Christian's outside of there community's not asking for thanks' but simply telling those they helped to thank Christ).

The first has a King, a GOD and cares more for the soul than this world which rejected that King and is in rebellion with that God.

The Second HATES the concept of God and instead has a Chairman who is both king and God to it's members.

The First shares as needed with the people (money going to fill the belly's of fat bishop's and pay for lesbian nun's and gay monk's - oh not all but there are enough of them to taint the calling - was NEVER intended by the true Church), even the Apocryphal book of John (which is NOT really bible and may have gnostic origin or may be based on original work) has him giving money to a church to be DISTRIBUTED as needed, ever hear of the church giving money to it's members these days?.

The Second TAKES All money, enslaves the populace and the so called Party becomes OWNER of all supposedly for the good of the people but always in the end for the good of the party only.

There are differences and there are similarity's but the differences far outweigh any similarity's.

And instead of the money changers being caste out the commies just claimed ownership of it all, Christ on the other hand threw them, there tables and there ill gotten gains out of the temple.

Unlike silk robed fine wine and dining bishop's wanting there ring kissed Christ washed his apostles feet, told the rich to go and sell all they owned and give it to the poor then to come and follow him and if you have two coats and your brother has non to give him the one you are not using, he also fed the crowd and healed the sick.

So there is room to argue a Moderate socialist economy - definitely not a tyrannical communist one though - is actually morally Christian in it's virtues, helping the poor, healing the sick, housing the homeless and redistributing wealth fairly through an ethical taxation system as well as maintaining the state (All states tax, very few or non redistribute ethically though some social welfare systems such as that in England tried to in the past if not so much so today and yes you get the thankless mass, the angry right wingers and the fact the state destroys itself once right wingers take power by moving the tax burden off the rich onto the poor whom have less to give just like happened in the church with bishops taking it all for palaces and great basilica's while the poor starved, case in point the Irish potato famine the catholic church OWNED almost all the land in Ireland and instead of giving the potato's that did survive the potato blight to the people they and there tenant farmers SOLD them and put the money into the church treasury, non of that money went to help the widow, the poor, they had become the very opposite of what Christ taught and blamed the English - whom were not entirely blameless but no where near as guilty as the simple Irish folk came to believe at the words of there priests - for the whole situation).

He condemned the spreading of fake news as a sin, and said the serpent used fake news in the Garden of Eden. But I guess it's OK to disagree with, and flat-out reject what God said quite clearly in the bible. Pope on fake news

Jesus mentioned a flurry of false prophets that would lead many away from the truth when the end was close.

All the end times signs have been happening everyday of every week of every year since Jesus was put to death all over the world.

Honestly, all you had to do is look around, understand the human condition and propensity and WALLA, you got end times warnings because we're all too wicked for the outcome to be any different. #ChangeMyMind

At least Jesus knew our true hearts— that we're practically unredeemable even after his sacrifice!

Even if you're not religious like myself, you gotta admit that's some biggly forgiveness.

Just saying. 🤷🏾‍♂️

JHM, JO in the states on there Telly to name just two but there are far more than that.

And despite there failings if they do actually convert TO Christ then how false are they, JO had a big convention centre and would not house people made homeless by a natural catastrophe, he like JHM makes Millions from his TV show so has had HIS reward on earth so?.

And JHM Brags about what he has been able to use church fund's to build (do your acts of charity in secret) while living off those same fund's himself and having paid his ex wife's alimony out of them.

I think they and others such as that supposed EX Buddhist monk - prince something or other - guy over in Asia are also millionaires from there church fund's, have private jet's, sports cars the work's, definitely NOT what Christ commanded and instructed, not at all - and worse than any Catholic Bishop these days, in fact the scourging of the church today is probably God's way of getting rid of the evil men and refining it before his coming remember most Christians are actually Catholics and most Catholics BELIEVE in Jesus, Believe in the coming resurrection and the day of judgement.

So not to you but to the purely anti Catholic's whom both do and do not have a point - do not be caught out arguing in the Vile Accusers corner AGAINST fellow Christians, you have Christ denomination is secondary but yes he will remove the star of evil church's and some do not have one at all.

Literally one of the most important covenants God made with mankind.

The second I read the title my mind went to where yours did.

How is this not blasphemy?

Is this guy the pope of the Roman catholic church, or a one world government nwo schill?

He can't possibly be both can he?

Well he can be both, but that means big trouble for the holy Roman sea, and some big moves on the end times clock right?

HE definitely has, more than you and also book's that are not included in the bible of the protestant's as old Martin Luthor though a Jesuit before his breakaway did not have them to translate, many including the apocryphal book's of the old and new testament are still hotly argued both for and against, my take is that they have some truth's but also some suspicious deviation's from Christs own word which made me stop reading them and avoid them though some of there content is true, if any is not the infallible word of God though how can they truly be part of the bible.

The Acts of John for example has him heal his daughter then make her crippled again because he was told she would be a stumbling block to many because of her beauty yet Christ said "It is not what goes into a man that corrupts him but what comes out of him" meaning that it is not what we see but our own inward already inherent evil's, lusts, greed, anger, weakness and our falling to it that corrupts us, not this young girl who at the age of 10 supposedly was seen by a man bathing and he then became tempted by her, that particular man needed to meat a pair of rusty garden shears if they had been invented by then in my opinion - fine it was a different age but and he may have repented but - and not for that child to then be crippled, her beauty (if a ten year old can be considered beautiful in that sense of the word which from our modern perspective we have a definite problem with) was not the stumbling block, rather the spirit that supposedly spoke to John saying that (In contradiction of Christ) and the mans own inward corruption were the stumbling block.

This made me suspect these book's were possibly of Gnostic rather than true original Christian origin's but I could be mistaken of course, however they do not form part of my faith.

If you're Catholic, it is blasphemy.

There's no way around that, save with sophistry so profoundly out of whack, that up is rendered down, and left is right.
