Message in a bottle. . .

Do you know where you’re going? Sometimes when we’re trying to navigate through this journey called life, it’s fairly easy to lose sight of where we’re going if we allow the allure of the lights to lead us astray. Is it even our fault that it was wired into our DNA to be fascinated by new and shiny things? Or how life always seems to find a way to leave us someplace yearning for something more than just ourselves?

Hmm.. I don’t know, we are just humans after all.

Beautifully hypnotizing in its gaze, be careful to not fall victim to its captivation, and let it, let you, become too comfortable inside its warm embrace. Not all that shines is gold and not all that glitters is diamond. The truth you’re searching for is hiding somewhere in plain sight and the best version of yourself is waiting to be discovered where you’re most afraid to look.

Get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

I think when we discover that the wind is our roadmap in life, a true sense of freedom and happiness enters our ❤ hearts.

There is a wonderful little book I read in college (author escapes me) called "If you don't know where you're going? You'll probably end up somewhere else!"

One of my friends was the nervous, always busy types.

When someone would ask him where he was going, he would answer :
" Crazy ! Wanna come ? " LoL !!


Am catching a similar vibe from Zos' thread a few days ago, about liminality.

Plus ça change : plus c'est la même chose.

In the end, it doesn't matter. It all ends with a slow ride in a hearse.

thank you, I've been on a tough journey since my husband died years ago but I'm finally getting my sh!t together. Fixing the farm up, limiting my alcohol consumption, losing weight, walking, enjoying nature again.
