HIV can be flushed out of hiding
BBC World News, January 3, 2005
A protein produced by immune cells could lead to more effective treatments for HIV, US researchers hope. While powerful anti-HIV drugs exist, the
virus has learned how to lie dormant in the body and escape their attack. Now virologists at Thomas Jefferson University have found the protein called
interleukin-7 can bring some strains of HIV back out of hiding. Their findings appear in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.

Interesting topic this as we do actually have dormant genes and the most famous/dangerous virus in the world (HIV/AIDs) is actually a domant gene.
Also have anyone noticed that when in a high level of stress/work/etc. your body is capable of doing alot more than you thought.
