Colter Wall is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

This guy almost makes up for Justin Bieber....but we're never gonna quite forgive ya for that one.

Guy's got an interesting sound to him. I'm with you: Canada still owes us.

Yeah but then we had to bust out Celine Dion and Nickleback to make up for it.

Colter's an old soul - writing and singing about the Appalachians at a younger age than some would believe.
We think he's permanently moved to the US. No politics here, but his daddy... well, there's a good, knowing reason Colter wrote lyrics saying "...don't trust no politician..."
Johnny Cash's manager snapped him up if memory holds correctly.

He has the dark country sound trying to come out, but he seems to be fighting it. He needs to let it go out all the way.

Normally I'm not a fan of country but this was good!

There's something of Johnny Cash and Nick Cave in that song.

I enjoyed that exponentially More than
I usually do The New Artists
His guitar skills intrigued me and
Then that dark, wild voice really hooked me.

Alanis Morrisette made up for the sending of Celine Dion.

Nothing will ever make up for weaponizing the Beiber.

Although Colter Wall is showing a lot of promise...

Making up for Justin Beiber is going to take some serious heavy lifting. But at least Canada has a pretty good backlog of bands in the credit column to offset the absolutely staggering liability of the beeb's.

RUSH
Neil Young
Bachman Turner Overdrive
Gordon Lightfoot
April Wine
Steppenwolf
Joni Mitchell
Leonard Cohen
Red Rider
Crash Test Dummies
Barenaked Ladies
Alanis Morrissette
Aldo Nova
Bruce Cockburn
Mahogany Rush
Headpins
Alannah Miles
Martha and the Muffins
Saga (if you liked heavy metal back in the day)
Men without hats
