A part of Yasser Arafat’s secret hoard - $4 bn - has been documented and accounted for in a painstaking project undertaken by Nigel Roberts, the World Bank’s country director for the West Bank, and Palestinian finance minister Salam Fayyad. They have obtained partial information about another $1-2bn and found a further three to four billion invested on Arafat’s behalf by two individuals, his chief financial adviser Mohammed Rashid, and Palestinian-born international tycoon Samer Khoury.

It was well known that Arafat was robbing his own people just like Castro and the other dictators did,not only to build his own wealth,but mainly to control the money flow,so he can launch terror attacks on Israel...By leaving his own people in misery he build the athmosphere of hatered toward Israel...It's interesting to see how the State of Israel succeeded in just 30 years to absorb 810 000 jews from the Arab World,whose property was confiscated,and the same number of Palestinians continue to live in Refugee Camps and now they are millions...I think it was for purpose...
