Thanks, Johnny! Your words of encouragement are welcoming and the extra information has put my mind at ease. The character count is more than enough to recount my story; I just need to be economical with my words and not get carried away.

Oops, sorry, I forgot to post here with a link to my story: Living by Numbers

For anyone interested, my OP was cut mid-paragraph, so I was forced to overflow into the next post.

In any case, after some research, I noticed the total character count (including spaces) for a single post is around 7,500. I will try harder to be more concise in future contests.

For those still interested, a few days remain to polish up that story and submit before the deadline!!!!
