If you had a stable sample of Element 115, would you release it?

I would want to publicise it as much as possible, have it examined and experimented with under 24/7 streaming surveillance, available for anybody with an internet connection to watch as much as they want.

All findings published immediately. Not worked on behind closed doors, in plain sight where it can't be 'accidentally lost'.

Can you explain element 115 a bit more.....I know of it, but nothing about it.

115 is an unstable element in the periodic table that decays within milliseconds. Lazar claims that within S4, exists a stable form of 115, that when used in conjunction with an anti-matter reactor, will produce energy with 100% efficiency and create an immense gravitational field as a result. That's the short version of the story.

Anti-Grav.

Free Energy.

Would you agree that it is possible that an isotope of element 115 could exist with a half life of centuries to millions of years?

Option D: create a spacecraft that runs on the 115, dress up as an alien and land in Central Park. Start a new religion, don’t pay taxes and profit.

The American way.

An interesting question and a conundrum for sure. I think:

A) The scientific community is firmly in the government's back pocket. Nothing given to science would remain sacred for long. Global meltdown would shortly follow.

B) Low budget and research don't go hand-in-hand. The sort of investment to research a hypothetical element with the alleged properties of E.115 would require a bottomless money pit that not even the richest of the rich could sustain for decades/centuries to figure it out. Also, people can't keep secrets, so back to option A.

C) Probably the best option. Mankind is not mature enough to reach the door handle, let alone explore its own back garden. We would only sour the Milky Way and turn it into curds and whey.

C+) Give it to George Knapp to hide away with Bob Lazar's stash... I wouldn't trust my memory to remember where I put it in case I decided to revert to options A or B somewhere down the road.

Always keep your options open!

I believe there is, and so do a few open minded scientists.

An isotope where there is stability requires a lot more neutrons than can be made here on Earth. When they made a tiny bit of 115, it was an isotope at the very beginning (lightest) of neutron count, and quite radioactive...

Option C

I wouldn't have a stable sample of Element 115 though.

I'd have a stable sample of Element 116, which was misidentified as Element 115 by Bob Lazar and the military during his presence there.

Element 116 has a theorized isotope in the correct range to be stable by an isle of stability. This 116 isotope could have been misidentified as Element 115 by Lazar and crew.

Real Element 115 actually falls short of that isle of stability requirement.

I've heard of this hypothesis/theory before but I must admit my chemistry knowledge is lacking.

Seems like one of those scenarios where either everyone has to have the tech, or no one can have it.

My understanding of chemistry does not allow me to answer that question with any degree of credibility. Suffice it to say I'll take your word for it. Our govt could be using this is in defense applications already. Who knows?

I'd definitely NOT make it public. Not immediately. I'd be too afraid of a midnight visit from some 3-letter agency

You don't need a flying saucer stunt to start a new religion. Just a website, a story that people want to hear, and a huge amount of chutzpah.

Releasing it to the public might be the best way from getting nasty visits from either the government or whatever crazy dimension the Men In Black come from.

Ask John Lear and/or George Knapp. They've both claimed there is a piece of 115 hidden in a public place, within the city of Las Vegas. Don't hold your breath for directions or coordinates.
ETA: Lazar also claimed "the US government has 500 tons of element 115". Maybe they could give up a sliver of it.

A public place? Like a safe deposit box? Seems odd they would simply leave it laying around somehwhere in the Plaza Casino lobby.

Option B if I knew how (ie: was bob lazar)

No way I'd turn it over to those who are in bed with the government in any way. They'd only exploit it to their own ends and would probably bankrupt/discredit/jail you for your trouble like the devious little liars they are

Option C maybe makes sense too

Under no circumstance would I turn it over unless it was somehow guaranteed there would be no external notification, smoke signal or contact with the outside world until the results were ready to be released, and only then with a simultaneous release/notification of major media both inside and outside the US, including those in so called "hostile" states to ensure USG couldn't get their grubby hands on it

Option B makes sense to me only if you think you can find a way to re-create/synthesize it somehow, or at the very least 'learn' how to synthesize it. That way you could share the instructions with the world safely and anonymously.

Very true NV!!!

Think of what 115 could do for the human race

Third world countries could Skip industrialization all together and leap straight into 21st century technology

Food shortage, energy shortage and even environment issues would all be settled and without resources to squable over I can't imagine another major conflict breaking out

It would eliminate the need for government, the need for most corporations and would help us...and indeed all people...achieve true freedom and self determination

I personally believe Bob Lazar and do not have a single doubt about him on any material fact

Point in fact, WITSEC disappears people all of the time in fact there's an entire infrastructure via WITSEC and intelligence to not only erase an identity, but to create a new one all together!

They control all of the systems used for identity and vital stats, and can absolutely molest them at will

IF he doesn't have a sample and it's solely in gov hands, then all bets are off. They'd watch the world burn because someday, somehow they might have an advantage over a non-existent adversary

Just like nuclear tech. Not only did they try (and now fail) to bury it for the last 100 years, but the entirely ignored Thorium based MSRs because there's no by product to weaponize

Screw us they said. We can keep burning limited fuel sources from dead plants while unlimited energy is suppressed and that's not even taking something like 115 or even tesla's work into consideration

Ah it's a false economy, in a made up free country by empty suits and predatory sociopaths bit repeat after me!!! You are free!

Atomically related to bismuth, right? It has some odd properties, and it's pretty when all crystalized out into little colorful squares. Maybe there would be something to the way the higher atomic weight and pull into that deep gravity dimension that would make it a viable way to generate a high-frequency gravity wave that can be manipulated in some way. Bismuth is already weakly radioactive with a very long half-life. Maybe Element 115 takes advantage of that in some way.
