Over the past 3 weeks I've slowly been losing the use of my left arm, hand. Many trips to docs, neo consults. X-rays and Ct exams.

On the plus side today I was told I do not have a brain tumor.

Yay.

The bad news is that my C7 disk has ruptured. One doc today explained it as my steel-belted radial tire blew.

And it's pressing down on the nerves that control my left arm.

What's to be determined nexxt week is if I need surgery or if physical therapy can take care of it.

I'm opting for physical therapy. Too many people freak if I take a 3 day weekend off, I can't imagine taking 6 to 8 weeks off.

I'm just looking forward to the day where I can once again flip off people with my left hand because this is AMERICA!

Good luck and prayers to you.
I’m hoping therapy or some non-surgical treatment
Will fix you up!
Last year in 3 months I had 3 surgeries because my L3 exploded and I had to have 3 level fusion.
So beware.....the areas above and below the fusion
End up getting weak and need surgery.
Praying you can stay away from surgery

My wife gave me the same warning, if they "release" the pressure in C7 then I'm susceptible to disk slips in C6 and C8.

I'm not happy about this.

For the dozen years I worked in medical, I never knew. Going through much of the same gyrations as you. They said it was humping a ruck too many years in my youth.

Trust the docs, Brother. I went through a horrifying ordeal with my right arm. Unending nerve pain for seven weeks. Then it got my left side. Arm went completely dead for a while (you probably recall). Anyway, the right arm is much improved. Took about three years. Left arm came back in about a week when it decided to stop effing around. Doc tells me this could come back ... maybe it won't ... maybe it'll be temporary ... maybe it'll be permanent. For all that they don't know, I'm back to where I can run a rifle and a pistol as well as I have ever been able.

Get to that place too, brother. Don't you sit down beside the trail either.

Good luck with that, DBC!
Praying therapy can fix it.

I suppose it being ruptured means it's too late for chiropractic???

Its a week out of your life, nothing more.

Good luck! I hope everything goes well. Do not let a doc inject you with steroids around your spine without looking into it yourself. My wife did and we believe it is what caused her Adhesive Arachnoiditis, cant prove it though. Best of luck avoiding surgery, it was not possible in my wife`s case, trauma from a car accident.

Discs are made from collagen. and require a cross bonding to make them tough, that bridging is made by copper enzymes.

So, jello is high in collagen, so is bone broth. Get the kind with actual sugar and not aspartame.

Good chocolate is made in copper kettles. I do not need to say more, but copper supplements are cheap to buy, only the daily minimum requirement or a little bit more is needed to boost the bond, the rest is gotten in the diet.

So, jello and chocolate, or if you want to eat healthier, then bone broth and copper country strawberries because there is copper all over the place up there.

Might as well make the cure good tasting.
