What will a democrat president really mean for the US over the next four years?

The Biden administration will just nationalize the means of production.

Do you really believe that? Or is it just...hate the Dems?

Because I don't see that happening at all. Where in Biden's talk (he's not yet in office so it's just talk) does he speak of nationalizing the means of production? As in eliminating capitalism? As in Socialism? It just isn't there.

Just Fantasy-land, still.

With anywhere between 50 to 80% of small businesses closing due to draconian lockdowns by democrat governors, this will be seen as a bailout and a "new partnership" by the Biden administration.

Can you point me to where this has happened in the past please? As I said I'm looking for what will most likely happen based on previous democratic presidents.

I expect new gun laws, environmental regulations, much higher fuel prices, inflation will run rampant, conservatives and religious people will be persecuted, civil rights will be steeply eroded, racial violence against white people.

That's a fear, and a valid one, I'll add. But you don't know.

Higher taxes and more regulations will kill any remaining small businesses.

Mass exiting of larger companies and employers not wanting to pay giant taxes

UBI and another increase in minimum wage will cause inflation to explode further.

Expect oil to be priced in Yen, and for it to become the world reserve currency.

US may even default on debt.

Expect a version of china's social credit score.

Some new war, I'm thinking we'll invade Syria or Yemen, maybe China pushes us to defend Ukraine from Russia.

as history shows, Democrats usually spend less on the military and more on Social programs as a whole.

As this administration is a strong continuation of the Obama admin, figuring out the future should be easy. How did it happen when Barry did it? he's likely got a nice set of sticks and some sting already assembled, so should Joey need some direction, he can quickly tie them to his extremities and make things happen as he sees fit.

Apparently Obama's 8 years was a resounding success, and will be continued for the next 4. Likely under Harris very soon.

Tons of money flowing from Washington to anyone who wants it. Drain em dry.

Syria will go hot real quick.

I have been watching the UN somewhat and they are banging the war drums to get rid of Assad. The bankers need to eliminate ANY country who hasn't sold their soul to the IMF and get rid of the gold standard.

If you're going to base the economy on GDP growth then communist China has been whooping butt for several decades.

Isn't it fun to cherry pick data and make charts?

To be fair the government took ownership stakes during the pandemic, under Trump.

Based on Biden's talk of expanded stimulus it isn't unthinkable that this could also expand.

It's a serious problem, but neither party seems to care. Like most of the other real problems there is overwhelming bipartisan support, in all branches of government, to ignore it.

That's one I'm waiting on. Barry was hot in the shorts for a war with Syria, and the public just wasn't interested. Now that this admin will get the nice treatment from everyone, and Barry is back in charge behind the curtain, I'd put money on a Syria action within the first 6 months.

We have serious problems, as a country, I agree.

I don't know that Biden is any great solution, I just feel Trump was a horrible one.

We've a long way to go.

If they don't end the restrictions and shutdowns, which there has been no indication they will, the economy will plummet. Unemployment will soar even higher, more states' finances will be pushed to the brink of collapse. All the while relying on these 3 to do something totally different than they have done in over decades of political service.

This except that’s over years of being a senator with resistance by others! imagine Biden with no resistance or even worse people like nacy pelosi and chuck Schumer and Adam schiff helping him out! Nacy helped hold up coronavirus relief for Americans for like 8 months, chuck and Adam wasted million of dollars in sham investigations and impeachment trials based of hearsay and lies!

Nacy was the one during the Obama years that told republicans they needed to vote on Obama care before being able to read it! The dems then proceeded to create a website for registering people for Obamacare and paid over 2 billion and it didn’t work! Google’s code monkeys had to donate their time and fix a website almost having to start fresh because it was garbage! That was with Obama as big chief!

I posted a link to a congressional report. How is that "cherry picking data" and "making charts"? What data do YOU think should be used to indicate economic strength. If you disagree with what I linked to, then show me some other links. Show me some evidence of your take on it. At least I'm trying to provide receipts.

Not that it matters much to a Brit,

I'm sorry but the very fact the OP took the time to ask proves your theory wrong.

I also care very much about the future of my big Sister, Nieces and Nephews, Cousin, Aunt and Uncle and if the doom and gloom is true, which I doubt, I should worry.

My favorite Joe is the one where he dropped out of the presidential race for plagiarism and lying about his academic record.

“I’ve done some dumb things,” Mr. Biden conceded at a stop-the-bleeding news conference at the Capitol. “And I’ll do dumb things again.”

Apparently he's a good choice now....lol

I actually did think about that. At the same time though, there are significantly fewer people on the Left that warn about the Right coming to ban abortions than people on the Right that warn about the Left coming to ban guns.

If anything, most of the talk about banning abortion during a Republican presidency actually comes from the Right.

What I see are extensions to what Obama did. I also see Joe dismantling all the good things President Trump accomplished. Because they interfere with the Democrats socialist agenda. Americans like their freedoms. However, Joe and the Democrats want to control everything we do from cradle to grave. Democrats believe in big government, and a weak military.

I should have said that it wouldn't matter nearly as much to most Brits as it does to us in America.
My apologies, I do realize that our world is much smaller today and we all have friends and relatives in other countries.
My statement wasn't meant as a hit on the people of the UK.
