Thank you for your kind words and yes, We were part of a monumental event in our American history. I won't but this date will be remembered in history long after you and I are gone.
I felt that it was an assignment from God that I be there.

There were agitators from all sides as expected. Those who initiated the breach should be identified and arrested as I have little patients from anyone doing that. The idiots that went in to sightsee should get their Darwin award and a hefty fine... The guy who threw the fire extinguisher and hit the cop leading to his death will spend the rest of his life in jail as he was a retiree, so maybe not too many years left. Sucky way to end your life with one BIG bad mistake. I personally have a lot to lose, so I'm not going to play silly games as I am 20 mins from downtown Portland and I could play that game every night if I wanted too. Got better things to do with my life like go to Peru and spend 3 months traveling there...That seems like a more fun trip...

My partner wanted seafood while we were in DC. I suggested we wait until we got out of that chaos and he picked the spot for late dinner on the trip home. I was surprised to see as much activity as was there on a Thursday night. If I weren't so old, Nashville would make an interesting weekend vacation.
