In a court filing that echoes and expands a statement by Amazon on Monday, attorneys for the Jeff Bezos-led company said Parler’s suit “is not about suppressing speech or stifling viewpoints. It is not about a conspiracy to restrain trade. Instead, this case is about Parler’s demonstrated unwillingness and inability to remove from the servers of Amazon Web Services(AWS) content that threatens the public safety, such as by inciting and planning the rape, torture, and assassination of named public officials and private citizens.”

source

There are other sources for this as well that show even more graphic calls for violence, murder, and torture. Removing Parler was the right thing to do, since they wouldn’t moderate material that threatened the public safety.

Parler isn’t coming back. It’s just not. It’s impossible to have an unmoderated social media site on the internet. This kind of speech is being removed.

Parler should respond to Amazon’s lies by pointing out that their suppliers in Communist China use slave labour from concentration camps using prisoners imprisoned solely for their race and religion.

Probably wouldn’t hurt to draw a connection that shows to do business in China one needs connections to the Communist Party, an organisation that murders people for their organs, sponsors rape gangs in Tibet and East Turkestan and kidnaps women from neighbouring countries to sell as sex slaves.

Personally I think a company that endorses such crimes should probably have it’s executives hanged, but the IG Farben business model is all the rage with western corporations these days it seems.

Start a separate suit for defamation. If US courts don’t care about genocide maybe they’ll care sbout that. I doubt it though. Every apparatus of the US state exists solely to serve billionaires and their monopolies now.

If Amazon lies, and If Parler has a case, bring it.

It worked for Dominion. As soon as they starting filing lawsuits, Fox and others recanted what they said about voter fraud on their machines.

Why deflect? Why not look at the fact that the goon squad who join places like parler believe they can say what they want without consequence?

They also exist on twitter and Facebook, also parler did moderate posts like that just not at the same speed as they are not as big a company as a twitter or Facebook.

Well I guess Parler shouldn’t have let those far-left extremists use its platform

Now it’s paying the price. Just like twitter.

Genocide enabling is a far more serious crime than saying bad words.

But given the praise given to oligarchical monopolies who engage in such practice i imagine neoliberals consider genocide an acceptable business model.

Hitler. Stalin. Mussolini.

Opposing their rule was also falsely labelled as ‘sedition’ by the leftists who supported and enabled them.

But they did moderate it. Amazon's reason for kicking them was because "they didn't trust Parler's ability to handle their moderation in the future".

And yet 8chan...I mean 8kun...is still going strong with /pol/ I mean /pnd/ still being among the top boards. Said boards make parler look like child's play. Like seriously, you will be greeted with nothing but calls to genocide and murder moments upon entering.

To the point where, i'm not sure if i'm even allowed to reference that place on ats.

But you are talking rubbish to try and deflect from the fact that self entitled idiots think they can say what they like without impunity, perhaps leading to some people taking them up on what they incite.

Idiots did in Washington only last week so calling it just 'bad words' shows your lack of maturity.

When you say worked for Dominion, do you mean how they helped steal the election, then were subsequently whitewashed of all wrong-doing?

Like that?

Exactly

People were murdered and cities burned when all of those politicians DIRECTLY told the terrorist groups aNtifa and bLM to riot and murder and loot and attack police.
The media DIRECTLY told those terrorist groups to attack and murder as well.
As I recall, a lot of that incitement was done through twitter

Calling them ‘bad words’ was disgusting.

At least twitter is losing all of its user base and backing, FAST!

8 chan however, is going strong as hell. Full to the brim with far-left extremism

Self entitled leftists have ruined it for Parler, ruined it for twitter and I imagine facebook will soon follow

8 chan is their breeding ground, it’ll be shut down soon too

There's child pornography and erotica on Twitter and Facebook. Why havent they been blacklisted? They have admitted they're unable to properly moderate content.

I think protecting actual children would be more important than protecting childish politicians.

No, I mean like how the talking heads on FOX had to come back and say that they basically lied about Dominion machines changing votes so that Fox wouldn't get sued out of existence.

ONCE AGAIN, if ya got proof, show it.
