Go for it.

The CNN poll figures are on the site that you claim to use regularly, but you refuse to quote from. I wonder why?

www.whatreallyhappened.com

Don't fret yourself, there will still be life for you after Bush.

CNN POLL SHOWING THAT NOBODY BELIEVED TENET. (Captured at 9:19 AM PDT Saturday morning).

Whom do you blame for the mistake in the president's State of the Union address on Iraq?

President Bush 93% 16533 votes
British intelligence 2% 268 votes
CIA 5% 948 votes
Total: 17749 votes

Gee MA,

WHERE IS YOUR COUNTRY, AND WHY DON'T YOU WORRY MORE ABOUT IT??

No, no different really.

The CNN poll had an obvious "recency effect" which was about whether people believed what George Tenet was speaking truth. People knew he was being scapegoated, so they placed the blame firmly on the guy 'with whom the buck stops' - lying, corrupt 'president' George W Bush.

But interestingly, here's the lead paragraph from what you have posted:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Public opinion of President Bush's handling of Iraq has dropped about 20 points since U.S. forces took Baghdad in April, a Newsweek poll said on Saturday.

All around, not a good look in either poll, and down the slope to abomination for this administration.

Good question.

I have answered about my country elsewhere.

I care very much about it, and the world, which is in fact why I am so concerned about the corrupt, lying Bush administration.

The world is a small place. Take a look around it some time.

Gee, us yokels from the local can't see the forrest from tem thar trees!!

I too grow tired of your foriegn opinion. Live here for a few decades, travel 40 states, serve in OUR armed forces and vote more than once here like me and I will honor a bit of your angst against a political party of the United States.

Until then, look around your own mess a little more instead of adding your fossil fuel to this one.

LOL

As par MA............................................you read only what you want to read!!! Let me finish what the results were...........:

"53%, said the Bush administration did not purposely mislead the public about evidences that Iraq had WMD in order to build support for the war......."

AND

"And in an indication of how controversy over an incorrect assertion by Bush in his January State of the Union address that Iraq was trying to acquire uranium from Africa was playing to the public, 72 percent said they had not heard about it."

You pick and choose your wordage MA to make me look inferior to you and your arguments...basically trying to make a fool of me..............only to paint yourself as playing the part of fool.......carry on.......

No, Seekerof, I don't pick and choose the figures to make you look inferior. You are quite capable of managing that job for yourself, it is not my intention at all...

I select the CNN figures as more reliable because they are in direct response to the stimulus provided by people who watched the Tenet material.

The general opinion poll did not have that stimulus behind it, and most of the people polled will not have had the opportunity to hear Tenet. The more the information circulates, the worse Bush looks. Simple as that. He will get far worse approval ratings in each and every poll taken, and 53% saying that he didn't lie is not a very sound starting point.

Tyriffic, if you are sick of me meddling in your precious affairs, then I am sorry. I am not disrespecting you. You have been around more of the states of the US than I have, by double. I suspect you are really struggling with the fact that the Bush administration is corrupt, lying and deceitful. If I had any long-standing allegiance to his political party, I would feel the same way too.

But if you don't want to read my information which otherwise you would not have the opportunity to read, please go ahead and push the "Ignore" button, and be the worse off for it.

This is a real issue for you, isn't it?

Leveller posted very very well on this matter a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if you read what he had to say, but it was an effectively argued plea to thinking Americans.

I haven't heard much from him since.

Your CNN "figures" hold no glue MisguidedA......how about prop the link here to verify those numbers.

As the world turns MA, your right on the more the information circulates bit, but you left out one thing.......the more the information circulates the more you, the Democracks, the leftists, the anti-american, and anti-Bush 'gang' try to pry your propaganda from the words. You are so caught up in the "grand conspiracy" theme, that you fail to even see the signs of its very collapse. You make sure you get your vote in MisguidiA......your voice will count then.....

You already have the link. I was kind enough to give it to you.

It's www.whatreallyhappened.com, for 7/12/03. That's where you will find the CNN figures that show 93% of people, after listening to George Tenet, believed that Bush was responsible for the lies.

Have you noticed that you have completely stopped making sense, after only six provocations, Seekerof?

You are easier to bring down than the corrupt Bush administration, but less worth the effort.

I happen to like Lev, he doesn't spew a bunch of harranging mess at the board just to instigate. I think his post come from a lot of thought, right or wrong.

It is a issue when people who don't even live here try to ram their opinions of our process and the players involved down my throat. Sorry. That is how it comes across from you.

You have alot of time to bash Republicans. I wish I had the leisure time to bash (if I cared to) your govt.....see, I have a modicum of respect for those in places I live not in: I know they know more than me!

The funny thing is, you sound like someone who is just too angry at the spilled milk to look at the bull that is piling up on your own shoes. Here and There.

Maybe I will look deeper into your govternment........???

ps...I know why Lev isn't around much any more, and it is personal...he's a good guy.

No, actually my friend, I am still struggling with the lying, corrupt, unethical, hackneyed; socialistic; law- breaking; anti-moralistic; self agrandizing Clinton Administration we just got out of!

I have more info than you may undersand my friend. You see, I have belonged to three different parties here. I have served PAC's for differing causes in the past in an activist capacity....you tell me to ignore?

Thanks for the news about Leveller.

I just checked my shoes. I am still in a safe place, well above the cesspools and piles of BS that Seekerof brings forth and talks about in most of his posts. He was a decent poster once, and then as an impressionable young man he got caught up in some typical redneck style arguments that most of the children at ATS do. I am not quite halfway through my demonstration of how this style of argument reduces defenseless people to moronic idiots. Besides being well above it, there is no accumulating faecal matter in my shoes either. Thank you for your concern!

You go and have a look at any government that you wish, and you will find evidence of corruption and lies in too many cases, but nothing on the scale of the Bush administration. This takes the cake as the worst of all time in the US, but just short of fascism (although it is certainly heading that way) and genocide. And it's not a partisan issue.

If, MA, you could refrain your self from using derogatory ephitets * redneck* I think it is what you infered about Seeker, than maybe the hostility from this side would vanish.

You want me to believe you are an educated person, and as soon as I do, I read something about an assumption about another poster's heritage???
I thought I was arrogant, but man, toooo much!

Thanks for the info.

Nice tidying up that time, Seekerof. You have potential in the English language after all.

No, I didn't link the url, I decided to leave it to you in order to check you could still type while provoked to enragement... or at least to make sure you still had cut and paste skills.

Have you checked those CNN figures yet, to make sure they are sitting neatly in their table where I last left them?

I don't think I will be finishing any painting. Other presentations are more my domain, but I appreciate art.

I don't mind join the dots though, and I know you will enjoy this....

BTW I have now wasted most of my ATS upload space on three stupid political cartoons. Is there another free storage place/URL that anyone knows about?

Hey MA, no prob.
You feel that way....again, no prob.
I did what most anyone would do, defend my position. It amazes me how people can throw out their views and opinions as they see fit, as long as it adheres to most everyone elses views and opinions, but no one can do likewise as counter? Someone can sling belittlements around with irregard for whom they give them too and again, not expect to get them back?
Again, no prob..... I'll go back to little hole and be a good "go along with flow" mentality....

No, "redneck" was not directed at Seekerof, it was directed at a stupid way of arguing into which Seekerof had fallen.

You are quite right in the emotional loading attached to that word. Is there a reason why it is more associated with Republicanism, aside from the alliteration?
