It's ok, they're "fighting fascism."

Isn't it interesting in the article, they are described as hackers, but in the title they are described as security researchers?
I'm so sick of this 1984 bs.
Anyone who is ok with this needs to get their head checked.
So what you’re saying is you’re okay with this?

You know that characterization is a complete lie. The vast majority of Parler users did not do this, but their private driver's license or other private information were revealed as well by these "security researchers".
Imagine if your bank encouraged "security researchers" to do the same to you, because it was looking for the handful of money launderers holding accounts?
You people have risen to a whole new level of crazy.

Let's save this post for when the same thing happens to a liberal site and the lefties get all pissed off.
Falling for left/right is why we are in this mess.
Maybe, but the double standards don't help. If the playing field were more level, I think there would be much less left vs right rhetoric.
"A West Virginia state lawmaker has resigned after he was arrested
after filming himself inside the U.S. Capitol during Wednesday's
violent siege."
"Republican Derrick Evans, a newly elected member of the West
Virginia House of Delegates, was charged with illegal entry, the
D.C. U.S. Attorney's Office said during a press call with reporters
on Friday."

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

"You people"? Who is this "you people"? And who said anything about "vast majority"? No one here appears to be condoning the hack. Just that you have to realize it's a possibility. Don't put words in other people's mouths to make an argument. Poor form.
But as stated, if you make violent threats against the government (and we've certainly seen a good bunch of that from the right here at ATS as well), you best be careful, and best not be surprised when it comes back to haunt you. How crazy is it to, ya know, be aware of the reality of the situation? Particularly among a bunch of tin foil hat folk that already think the government is watching you all the time.

I'm still on ATS as are you!! Draw your own conclusions.
I sure as hell had enough sense to not sign up for Parler,
If you haven't read enough dystopian novels to realize that its been 1984 since 1984; who's fault is that?
