Just wondering if any ATS members know the woman who was shot and killed at the Capital Hill "insurgency"?

Was she an ATS member?
Was she one of the people talking about going to Washington?

A true American.

A veteran, peacefully protesting and practicing her First Amendment right, after her vote was suppressed and the political systems that are supposed to protect Democracy in this country had failed her.

Someone whose death will, sadly, likely be used to push political agendas and create further divide.

Peacefully protesting by storming the US Capitol illegally. Ok, Cletus. I missed where in the First Amendment it said that was a right.

Do you really think that?

If so how can you justify her actions given the general consensus?

It's like people forget the US government aren't monarchs. They work for the people, the buildings belong to the people and the constitution ensures the right of the people to do exactly such a thing.

Then walk into the whitehouse unannounced.
Go ahead, do it.

Maybe run in wearing a backpack?

Through a broken window, try that.

As pointed out in an earlier post.....

Why was she the only one shot? Was she the only person “storming” the “capital”. I though the USA had a prideful view of supporting those practicing civil disobedience?

So. There is no room in the USA for civil disobedience.

Can you quote those on ATS that say they should not be prosecuted?

There is a huge difference between being prosecuted for civil disobedience vs being shot.

Well Tyrone, this is what democracy looks like or did you not get the memo this summer?

It is the people's house. It belongs to us.

A lot of protestors from over the summer agree with you, and appreciate your support.

This was not a protest however. This was not civil.
It was a riot, a group of thousands of mental defectives were following “suggestions”.
