Cabinet members discuss 25th Amendment
"Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan reports some senior members of the Trump administration have discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment, which could be used to remove a president from office and make the vice president the commander in chief. She joins "CBS Evening News" anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell for a CBS News Special Report in the aftermath of the violent protests at the Capitol.

THey would have to have a case of the terminal stupids.

There are two weeks left before all this passes on naturally. They've waited this long; they can wait 14 more days to put the Alzheimer's patient in charge of the nuke codes.

To remove him like this with people this angry would send things beyond radioactive when it's the government at large the people are actually mad at.

Sure.

Do it.

Think things are violent now?

Piss off 70 million Trump voters.

That'll soothe things over.

That'll calm things down.

I swear, some people just want an effing war so god-damned badly.

*shakes head*

*walks away*

If they attempt the 25th, there will likely be a REAL civil war. Not the fake one that was on the news tonight.

During the American Civil War there were only 2 million Union troops. Think about 70 million and what that fight would look like. I don't think the other side is ready for that.

The media are instigators, liars, and ratings hounds.

This is what happens when they lose touch so badly and hate one person so badly that they actually think all the anger and violence really is his fault and not product of their own behavior.

And if they did this, they'd find out they're the ones to blame for it and have been for longer than Trump has been a thing.

But sure ... let the government go ahead and create a martyr.

I highly doubt that to be true considering the current political climate.

CBS is just doing what they normally do....

BS.

Well it appears they left the doors of the halls of Congress open for the riff-raff to flood in and make just a big enoug scene to get some people to hush up and pipe down about dissent concerning some kind of “vote” I guess.

Why not go for broke during this PSYOP on the American public...

The reason Trump was elected in the first place was that too many were already pissed off at Washington DC politicians.

Seriously.

He has his 2 week notice. He's isolated and his legacy likely ruined at this point outside of conspiracy message boards. Invoking the 25th at this point does nothing except further inflame tensions.

Trump tried. The swamp is deep. Time to pack his sh*t.

If people really want change they have to do it at the state level to get rid of all these slimy incumbents in the congress and senate. If a third party wants to form, that is where the focus needs to be. The congress and senate.

... but aren't discussing the reveal yesterday on the federal government's murder of Seth Rich, or Obama using $400,000,000 in tax dollars given to the Italian government to rig the election.

Funny how that happens.

They need to remove him ASAP so he can't declassify everything he's been threatening to declas, on the assumption he's been holding back trying to work within the system.

I think the 25th is applicable to quite a few members of congress. Folks getting all upset cause a president is getting or losing a 4 yr term when you have congress folks going on 40 and 50 yrs of ripping us off. The corruption, steal, fraud occurs in the house and senate and its part of the daily practice. They need marching orders especially mitch, nancy slick, shumer and anyone thats been their more than 8 yrs.

Wake up left and right we should all should be united on who needs to be sent packing.
