Nothing about this snippet makes sense to me. That is why I am questioning all of it.

I don't even know if the word he used, when he spoke of the deity, was really Brahman. I thought that was the word I heard, but was unsure, so I appreciated when @GravitySucks, made their post.

If he did say Brahman, then I can't answer any of your questions because I am still stuck on trying to find answers to my own. 🤔

You do have to account for his dialect accent. It is pretty pronounced. I've heard him speak in person, so I know.

Perhaps God was a Goddess originally??..really I don't care he is a politician and that's in their job description.

I often speculated if Amen was a carry over since the time of Ra, I know certain biblical passages were lifted from Egyptian religious text.

Thank you, that helped immensely.

I don't know if it is the mask alone, but I am not sure who he is praying to.

I won't try to tear apart this man's prayer. I am sure whatever his intent, it had meaning to him. I do find it difficult to believe this man is not aware of the actual meaning of the word "Amen", as @djz3ro said in his post, almost every child that has ever been taught a Christian prayer, has asked the question regarding the meaning of the word.

So that leaves me were I started, puzzled.

I could blithely dismiss his comment as a faux pas, as it likely was, but just in case he did have a justifiable reason for what he said, if to no one else other than himself or his God, I am going to chalk this up to something that does not require me to have to understand.

I did not notice. I meant Imam, not Iman. I was meaning a prayer leader of the Muslim faith rather than a supermodel.
