As i uderstand it, in quantum mechanics the fact that the particle becomes a wave or vice-versa depending on what you are testing it for. Is based on the fact that in testing you PHYSICALLY come in contact with the particle or wave as an effect of the testing, i do not believe it has any relation to thought.(of couse i am not an expert)

We should ask the experts about that if we really come into contact with the wave/particle physically.
