Where is VP Pence?

Why is everyone so worried about what Lin Wood is putting out there?
If he's as crazy, as his critics suggest...why not just ignore him?

He's obviously a very good attorney, clearly very intelligent, with a firm grasp of the law and the constitution...and CNN has certainly learned to fear him.

Perhaps that is why people on the Left seem so worried about his so-called insane ramblings.

It doesn't work that way.

That's what happens in the case of an emergency and both the President and the Vice President are unable to perform the duties of their office. Then the Speaker of the House assumes the role of President.

But if the VP resigns, then the Prez has the privilege of nominating a new VP, subject to the approval of the Senate.

Both houses of Congress have to approve the President's nomination to fill the vacant VPs position.

25th Amendment:

2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

This is not true at all. Presidents can make whatever appointments are within his power up until the next President is sworn in.

Literally, every President is "outgoing" from the first day in office.
