Sounds similar to the Sunburn, it can be launched from a flanker.

But the rest of it's functions could be superior.

I would think that countries like Norway feel less need to protect or attack overseas interests and rather opt for shorter range but advanced home defense...

For the Norweigians, whose primary strategy is coastal defense using hit and run attacks by missile boats ducking in and out of fjords, long range is probably not nearly as important as stealth. But 160km ain't bad, it's equivalent to later blocks of Harpoon.

It stands to reason that since Russia was first in, they got many blueprints, prototypes, and production models of the new rocket technology, and other associated technologies like explosives/propellants, materials (composites/alloys), and missives (heh, not a typo in case anyone was wondering). While I agree the US certainly got most if not all the scientists, it seems logical that Russia got most of the good booty before the Americans even set foot in the city.

Sadly, for the Russians, Berlin is neither all of Germany nor on the halfway point and while the division of Germany after the war wasen't the same as where the lines were at the time it's not far off either. This does not account however for facilities moved east to escape bombers only to be overrun by Russian tanks.

I'm still trying to work out what the problem is.

These were old missiles with very primitive capabilities.
