No, it’s the same one the OP was talking about. It’s the one where the judge allowed the inspection of duplicated ballots.

Exactly.

They reviewed an additional 1,526 ballots and found 7 errors in the duplicated ballots (i.e., the error rate went down):

I wonder who selected which ballots to be reviewed, and how...

Larger sample of mailed-in ballots have just been examined in Arizona. 11% of that sample found to be not legal.

The case was still dismissed (the Defendant’s expert document examiner found 11 of 100 signatures examined to be “inconclusive,” but found “no sign of forgery or simulation, and found no basis for rejecting any of the signatures.”)

The Court found:

These ballots were admitted at trial and the Court heard testimony about them and reviewed them. None of them shows an abuse of discretion on the part of the reviewer. Every one of them listed a phone number that matched a phone number already on file, either through voter registration records or from a prior ballot. The evidence does not show that these affidavits are fraudulent, or that someone other than the voter signed them. There is no evidence that the manner in which signatures were reviewed was designed to benefit one candidate or another, or that there was any misconduct, impropriety, or violation of Arizona law with respect to the review of mail-in ballots.

It’s all in the order dismissing the suit: www.democracydocket.com...

Why do people here assume if its 2 wrong ballots out of 100 its 2% out of ALL ballots, that sample size is INCREDIBLY small for the number of votes in total and no way no how indicative or predictive of potential error/fraud numbers... you could count another 1000 votes and find all 1000 are fine, meaning the 2% the repubs here bandy around could be ALOT small than 2%, you could count 1000 and find from that sample its 4% but even at 1000 ballots in a sample size its WAY to small a size to even attempt an accurate assessment on potential numbers.

But twist maths so that you get theoretical big numbers out of a laughable sample size to validate 'a flip' if you want.

Just makes you looks stupid.

Funny thing is, if you did a proper sample size you'd find like in that other recount there might be a few ballots that go to Biden and not just trump due to errors or illegal republican ballots... maths (not in this case, with the 100 ballots) is a two way street.

This case was appealed to the Arizona Supreme Court, which just upheld the lower court’s dismissal of the case.

The Court concludes, unanimously, that the trial judge did not abuse his discretion in denying the request to continue the hearing and permit additional inspection of the ballots. The November 9, 2020 hand count audit revealed no discrepancies in the tabulation of votes and the statistically negligible error presented in this case falls far short of warranting relief under A.R.S. § 16-672.
