Just make whatever you claim in the short-term and move onto the next. Facts be damned, ya know? It's about locking in that attention, setting that doubt, then move on as if it was never a significant issue in the first place. Pretty much.

It's a good way to know whether or not the MAGA crowd agrees. In this case they do, given their wild attempts at deflection and character assassination. No denial of the gish gallop. They're probably happy to take anything they can get.
