Wear your masks! Data proves they work. Data is important. It's proof of how we should be doing things.

But what about schools? Data shows they are safe for kids. Experts say they are safe for kids.

Why aren't kids back in school? Data says they should be. We have to listen to data.

Outdoor dining is safe. Data says so.

At what point do we as a society realize our leaders are #ing idiots and should be ignored? At what point do we realize that the democratic agenda is wrong?

Put the kids back in school now.

I think they like doing half the work for all the pay.

But the covid won't last forever. eventually, these assholes will have to man up and do the job they chose as their profession.

Also, if the first lock down worked, why the second one? If the first lock down DIDN'T work....why the second one?

Because the usual suspects want the next generation of kids even dumber than the current generation of adults. Ok well at least half of them.

Outdoor dining is safe, especially when you move the indoors outdoors.

My kids are in school :shrugs:

The faculty didn't want to go back to in person school, but the backlash from redneck moms who use school for daycare was too strong. The next county south of me has been completely anti lockdown, anti mask this whole time. They had to shut their high school down a couple weeks ago because there were over 200 students and staff either sick or quarantined. I don't see our district going back after Christmas.

Data agrees with you, but not all state governors agree. Data is only useful when it gives you the ability to control. If it goes against that, it's disregarded.

If we followed protocols for one month it would have drastically reduced. The problem is that Americans refuse to follow protocols across all states so lockdowns only slow the virus.

And with the holidays, the virus will come back harder than before.

Maybe our only chance is herd immunity..

Data equals stats, sooooo, you have lies, damned lies, and data, which whomever uses for whatever needs to tell us whatfor.

can you show all the posts you did worrying about the Flu in recent years? If we followed the same rules we have for Covid, the flu would have been long gone by now. It was eradicated in the southern hemisphere this winter.

Or is that wrong?

Ha. 90% of stats are 100% bullshet.
Only the most special of flu viruses can get a lockdown status. Twice.
Swine, Avian, Hong Kong,...child's play.
The big bad COVID...
RUN TO THE HILLS!
🙄
It's all a bit too dramatic for my tastes.
Let's see what this week has in store for us in this most vexing/perplexing of years.

The flu is a range of viruses. Also, i believe covid can cause much more severe symptoms compared to flu viruses.

I haven't heard of any scientists saying that covid is similar to most flu viruses. Why are you making an argument that equates covid to a typical flu virus?

Well.. my point is that the u.s. wasn't focused on one specific strategy so therefore any strategy was doomed to fail without unity.

Did you know that people die each year from the Flu? Did you know that the Corona Virus is very much like the flu?
Do you know the symptoms of the flu? Do you know the symptoms of Covid? Do you know how accurate the testing is for Covid?

These are all very valid questions, and if you give truthful answers, they help to answer your own questions. And you will have come to that conclusion all by your self.
