Nothing in this thread is anything about what any of us are or aren't doing to help with hungry people. For all you know, some of us ARE hungry or know family who are and are already strained to bursting with that.

But it is entirely legit to be angry at the reason why those people are suddenly going hungry -- some bureaucrat decided a disease with a 99%+ survival rate was worth shutting down the entire economy over and all those hungry people are the result of having been labeled as "non-essential" at some point in the chain.

Don't you find it strange that a country of only 8.884 million get the biggest chunk of foreign aid? Except of Afghanistan and Iraq, that we destroyed. It's your taxdollars too!

All I got over here in Europe is "fake news media" and they keep going on about 1500/2000 deaths a day and doubling in the next two weeks, hospitals at max. capacity etc...

Every monday I listen to the mayor while talking with people from the emergency room and critical care in the local hospitals and we are sitting at like 25 or 30 people hospitalized vs 700+ beds sitting empty.

The purpose behind it.

Can't help it if your health care system is broke.

The scare headline here is that we just now hit 1,000 in this area ... since it all began in March.

The food line I saw in Michigan contained a lot of very plump people.
