President-elect Joe Biden is assembling his inner circle of advisers and Cabinet officials despite President Trump's continued dismissal of the validity of the election.
The week of Thanksgiving, Biden named key nominees for his foreign policy and national security teams, including Avril Haines as director of national intelligence. Haines would be the first woman to serve in the role if confirmed. Alejandro Mayorkas, nominee for Department of Homeland Security secretary, would be the first Latino and immigrant in that position.
Biden also tapped former Secretary of State John Kerry for a new White House position as special presidential envoy for climate. Kerry will serve on the National Security Council.

Trump appointed some people who were xObama.
It is a savvy move to place people in positions where they have experience, expertise and demonstrated ability.

In addition, Trump appointed a never ending run of pay-to-play cronies that knew nothing about the positions given to them. But when the biggest corporatist globalist ever is president, what do you expect? I expected exactly that, just like I expected all the the denial, the sore losering, and the floodgate of hypocritical tears. Drama ftw though right? Too bad the credibility is completely shot at this point.

It will not matter much when the House finally flips in 2022. There was no Blue Wave. Not even a ripple. The American people spoke and it was not for Biden.
Sorry, still cannot believe he got more votes than Barack....
