Byrd, awesome websites, thank you. Look, I don't want to be called in to being questioned if a viagra user hurts himself by drinking grapefruit juice while on viagra.

I found the answer that we have all been waiting for. Caffine is a type of organic chemical that, when put in water, releases hydrogen and becomes an ion. As soon as it ionizes, caffeine can be released from the body as urine. Citric acid also ionizes in water leaving a citrate ion. When placed in the same solution, caffeine and citrate form together to create citrated caffeine, aslo known as caffeine citrate. Caffeine citrate can stay in the blood streem much longer because it is not an ion. Caffeine citrate stays in the blood streem until it is decomposed back into caffeine and citrate. This extends the amount of time that the caffeine is active in our bodies.

Tom Sawyer, thanks very very much. I have a co-worker who'se husband is an interstate trucker, and I'll get the printout to him as soon as possible!

Guess now I gotta be concerned about getting in hot water for recommending it in the first place since there are contraindications between grapefruit and viagra taking patients. So by posting the first message could I be charged for practicing medicine without a license?

Slightly off topic: A few years ago I had to get a hernia surgery in Hawaii. Naturally nothing by mouth from midnight the night before. So I went into the OR with a really bad lack-of-caffine headache. So I joked around with the OR nurse (a fellow scuba diver) about getting IV caffine. Not a problem, she injected caffine into the IV. WOW! it worked way cool. Then I got a spinal so I could stay alert the whole time and talk diving while the surgen operated.

Well, you could say that caffeine is my passion. you may think that instant coffee and coke is great, but i just eat the coffee beans. You could say that when i saw this thread i felt obligated to solve the mystery of the exalted caffeine citrate.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh he mantion saccharides bad bad stuff. but i will try the grapefruit. Some friends of mine had a brainwave recently and went on a grapefruit diet. They had other foods but no fat no usgar and no dairy if i remember rightly. After two weeks they were all crook as chooks...(sick) and they all came out with weird bruises all over themselves especially their arms.

They are still recovering and all still ill and weak.
