What is the actual reasoning being given for this?

To see just how compliantly stupid people are.

Well but they already found out, back in March and every day since then: very, very stupid. And suckers for pain, as they keep asking to be pounded harder without any lube.

🤣😂🤣🤪

First they came for your non-essential items.

Then they came for your essential items.

Then they came for _________ .

Get ready. They won't stop.

🚨🚨 Be afraid 🚨🚨

Around here they already came for the damned toilet paper and Lysol.

Yup I know 😈

Are you seriously okay with this BS?

There's a certain group of peaceful rioters smashing windows, burning stones and stealing the items that us regular folk need and want to LEAGGALY purchase,. Why should us law abiding folk jump through hoops to get what we need,?

It won't be long until people don their masks, take up arms and do whatever tf they want. Regular folk are getting real tired of this crap and will snap soon..

I was denied a purchase of a couple of bags of grass seed. Was told to go home, order online and come back when my order was approved for something thay had in stock.

This has gotten ridiculous. And you folks defending this crap is going push people to do things they would never do.

The unspoken reasoning for it is the exercise of illegal and unconstitutional orders by mentally incompetent and criminally negligent governors.

Corporate fascism. Its rather terrifying. People need to learn what happened in yugoslavia, Greece, the Middle East, and what is happening right now in ukraine.

This isnt socialism as the bad guy, its the Corporate elite.

you can still purchase the items from the store ie. online, just not in person at the store..

are you all being a little sensationalistic?

Look at it like this. Imagine all the local stores who sell these items specifically. How are they to stay open?

Sure, big box stores can stay open as they have a wide variety of products.

We had this argument back in April.

its still sensationlising by saying that people can no longer buy clothes.

I dont think the original post is concerned about local stores who sell these items specifically to stay open. by the post he/she just wants to goto costco/walmart/target and buy clothes in person.

Its government selecting which businesses can stay open and which must close.

Example. Earlier in the spring our govenor deemed home and garden supplies unessecary. Impliments, seeds, fertilizers, pest control etc.

What do you think this did to local hardware stores vs say Walmart?

Its not sensational as its already happened.

Not at all. Even a communist country like China let you buy anything you want when stores are open, even during a situation like this. The people committing these illegal orders are FAR WORSE than most any communist.

aint my problem is someone frowns upon online shopping even when they really need something.

if people want to riot and cause even more damage to their own neighbours/neighbourhood because when they really really need something AND they refuse to adapt even temporarily to a new method, and so must absolutely do that shopping in person, then thats their choice.

Online shopping isn't new.

Some folks understand the economic importance of shopping locally.

Ordering by edict to shop online isn't free market capitalism nor is it within the purview of government.

im saying this titles thread is sensationalistic.

apparently you cant buy clothes anymore from costco/walmart/target. yet you are suggesting large stores such as walmart/costco/target can still do so online.

So, why can't you in person?

I like to touch stuff, feel what I am buying, and pay cash.

Can't do that online.

I'm saying its not and laid out a few facts and comments for a reason as to why.

Also buying online is a choice among 1 choices.

I hope it doesn't go back to this. I saw this at the start of Corona, here in Northern Virginia. I haven't seen
it recently. I am sure it's coming.
