What a Keystone Cop clown show these Republicans are putting on. First, they demand that the Secretary of State do an unofficial audit of other districts, already certified, before they certify Detroit's election. Then they find out that doing unofficial audits isn't a thing. Doing ad-hoc audits/recounts is not in the rules, neither is takesies backsies on certification. Certification papers were signed, sealed, and delivered.

Meanwhile Trumpists are LITERALLY sending death threats to the Georgia Secretary of State and his wife. But oh, these two were “intimidated”. Ok then.

They definitely have tunnel vision.

And wear blinders.

Trump's lawsuit has been dropped.

"This morning we are withdrawing our lawsuit in Michigan," Giuliani said in a statement.
The Trump campaign's federal lawsuit had attempted to stop Wayne County, which contains the city of Detroit, from certifying its election results until swaths of ballots were cut from the final tally.

The President of the United States anticipated monkey business ... and did NOTHING!!

Never say never... there may be something yet that we don't know that they're keeping under wraps for now...

BUT this is where I'm at. Trump called this for months; but now, when the rubber meets the road, he's got nothing???

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to raise eyebrows about in how this election was executed. Plenty!!! But for the most part, it's petty stuff, and will not overturn a Biden win, so it's not in the best interests of the American people to drag this out and through the mud and down the road.

The accusations that could change the outcome -- the software related flipped votes and phantom votes and so on -- have no hard evidence to back them up. Those are mighty big accusations and need some mighty big evidence to back them up.

I'd like to believe there is no truth to such systemic fraud. I'd also like to believe in Santa Claus. I'd like to believe that if there is such systemic fraud, that there is evidence to prove it. And I'd like to believe in the Tooth Fairy.

For someone anticipating fraud very loudly and publicly, he sure didn't seem to take many (any) precautions to stop it, nor to catch it. And that bothers me. Very much.

First, neither you nor anyone else here knows what types of threats were made to the families in Wayne County. Second, no matter who it's done to by whom, it's not ok. Why you keep trying to limit it to those on the right being in the wrong shows your extreme tunnel-vision since that was mentioned.

The two did recieve calls from President Trump before the reversal but are claiming they were threatened by "Grosse Pointe Antifa". Which has caused hilarity as there are 3 cities which make up the Pointes and they are one of the wealthiest in the state. I assume they throw cans of caviar instead of soup.

Uhem... the two Rs that initially refused to vote for certification, then changed their mind, then changed it again, never signed the certification papers even after they voted to certify after they were threatened.

So... no signatures, no certification.

They didn't reverse.

The two republicans asked that it be reversed because they are worried that the deal of an audit will not be honored.
It's in the hands of the sos now. The two repubs already voted. Nothing legal they can do now.

Give it a few days. I believe the sos will honer the deal and an audit will be done.

Do you seriously think that Flynn hasn't been helping President Trump by working with his attorneys/team (Sydney, Rudy, Jenna, etc), explaining just how this garbage works and how to set the trap for them?

He was was head of the DIA. He likely has intimate knowledge of the votescam software, machines, and how it all works, knows where all of the bodies are buried and who has skeleton and where they are hiding, and helped set the trap.

They need to get to the voting and counting software. Re-counting illegal ballots which of COURSE were mixed in with legal ballots isn’t going to do anything. They need to get the software and show the algorithms that were used to switch votes from Trump to Biden, and the weighted races where Biden got 2 votes for every one ballot and Trump got a half vote for every ballot for him, for example.

About these Republican who allowed themselves to be bullied into certifying in the first place: fire them. They obviously have no convictions, no courage, no ability or willingness to do the right thing even when under pressure. The people deserve better.

Why didn't they make a formal "obstruction" complaint of intimidation? Why didn't they list intimidation as a reason why they changed their votes back, and finally did certify Detroit in their affidavit? Instead of citing intimidation as a reason why they felt forced to change their vote, they only listed a complaint of being misled into believing their demands were going to be met.

They didn't reverse.

They did. They voted, but never signed the certification. Until it is signed off on, it is not certified.
