DID THIS DOCTOR SAY HIS NAME WAS 'HAR'KINSON OR NOT???

Jeez this is like getting blood out of a stone 😄

He speaks with an accent, it almost sounds like “Har”kinson but he says “Hod”kinson

Ummm ok, but he speaks with a very eloquent English accent, and i understand that very well because I'm English.

I'm not sure that someone who speaks English with such clarity would pronounce their surname incorrectly? 🤔

Just asking questions here 👍🏼

Edit: it's ok I'm happy now, I found a vid of him talking where I could see his face, story checks out lol 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Effectiveness of Adding a Mask Recommendation to Other Public Health Measures to Prevent SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Danish Mask Wearers

A Randomized Controlled Trial

www.acpjournals.org...

"A total of 3030 participants were randomly assigned to the recommendation to wear masks, and 2994 were assigned to control; 4862 completed the study. Infection with SARS-CoV-2 occurred in 42 participants recommended masks (1.8%) and 53 control participants (2.1%). The between-group difference was -0.3 percentage point (95% CI, -1.2000.4 percentage point; P = 0.38) (odds ratio, 0.82 [CI, 0.54 Co 1.23]; P = 0.33). Multiple imputation accounting for loss Co follow-up yielded similar results."

Conclusion:
The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection.

I feel 0.3% better knowing this.

I don't believe they have any idea what will actually "protect" us from getting it.

My Step sister is a hospice nurse. Very cautious, always masked up, and gloved, with tons of sanitizer everywhere withing reaching distance.

Guess who got it?

Protect the elderly, and high risk.
Let the rest of us do our thing, if we so choose.

This is the way ....

and I speak as one of those that is a high risk, and we have my elderly mother living with us. We take our precautions seriously but we live our lives too

I had to listen to him say his name multiple times and the quality is not that great.
But I believe he does say Hodkinson.

I’ll take the opinion of a pathologist over a nurse when it comes to the science behind the spread of a virus.

Could you find and post some of those credentials please?

Couldn't find anything about him on Google.

It's Dr Harkinson right?

Thanks.

Here you go - looks like this is him:
westernmedical.ca...

Another link:
medmaldoctors.ca...

Thanks, but that's a Doctor Hodkinson, didn't he say Harkinson in the vid? Could be my ears!

The video description on Youtube specifically mentions Dr. Roger Hodkinson & the profiles of him from the links describe details that match up with how he described his background in the audio

Wait...what do you disagree with? Is it the fact people die from a multitude of viruses and other causes or the reality we are dying from the day we are born?

Are you saying you disagree with reality?

He says the same thing I say, this virus is very catchy and everyone is going to get it, it is not going away till we get it and get over it. The vast majority of people do not get a life threatening disease from it, they just get a little sick. Others may get medium sickness, but only those at high risk should be concerned, and we should be concerned to make sure they do not get it.

The media is fearmongering people, and people are spreading BS about this disease all over. Most people are not really afraid of this, but they are taking more precautions to keep the people who are worried from having a canary.

Hmmm. Looked up have a canary, It appears it may have evolved from a shakespeare play.

It depends on the mask. A regular mask prob doesnt protect you very much but a 3M N100 will protect you a lot better.. no guarantees since anything can compromise the seal like facial hairs.

Doctors like him don't have a platform or get censored so the Anthony Faucis and Joe Bidens can keep the sheep scared & submissive smdh

I think it's a form of the Stockholm Syndrome playing---many of the sheep enjoy being frightened.

True, but the average person doesn't even know about "Fit Testing" for PPE.

1. Qualitative fit testing (QLFT)
Qualitative fit testing is a pass or fail method to determine if your mask fits. The tester sprays bitter or sweet aerosols near your mask. If you can taste the spray, your mask isn’t a proper fit.

2. Quantitative fit testing (QNFT)
Quantitative fit testing is number driven. It measures the effectiveness of the respirator seal by reading inside and outside environments.

The person has the credentials.

Very interesting, I 100% agree about his comments on mask usage, as I sell masks, it's all virtue signalling that with use I show I care, but it isn't doing much to protect us. I do wear a mask at work because my co-workers demanded it, I do it to keep the peace.

Sure ok we will play ball.....why doesnt he tell the truth?

ALL OF THE TRUTH.

Viruses are a dead pan lie.
Covid-cold is a pleomorphic bacteria in viral size....full stop.
It originates as a BAD GUT BACTERIA and BILLIONS UNKNOWINGLY CARRY IT insitu.

I choose to err on the side of caution.

And I'm all for you having that choice.

Please allow me to have the choice to not be afraid, and walk about freely without you imposing your fears and mandates on me.

Thank you very much.
